Only on Bluemoon can a full back who started every game in Germany's semifinal World Cup run and every game in a run to the Champions League final (beating us and keeping a clean sheet in the process) be shit just because he left us.

No one has said he is shit just because he left us, that's a ridiculous argument. I couldn't give a shit who he plays for now, or what final he's in, and I suspect most other are the same. For us, he was fucking terrible. Lazy, cowardly and disinterested. He came with a big price tag and a terrible attitude and from day 1, couldn't or wouldn't apply himself in a proper manner. He couldn't be arsed making an effort adjusting into our league or team and that is completely unprofessional.

He clearly didn't want to be here and if that's the case he shouldn't have signed in the first place, the unprofessional, mard arsed twat.

Remember that cross he made against valencia (?) pre-season? I genuinely thought we'd signed a world class full back but for whatever reason it didnt work. No doubt hes a good player as some have said, but he really disappointed me here. Then again, i cant really remember him getting any games in succession.

How many games in succession did he ever get at CB?

That was in the days Mancini was obsessed with pushing central players out wide. Remember how awful Milner looked as a winger?

Who knows what would have happened had he got a run of games as a CB. His attitude was very poor though.

Boateng was excellent last night.

He was struggling with injury when he was at City and played out of position. I always thought he'd come good. A lot of fans wrote him off as per usual

He never had the heart or the physical presence that are required of a centre-half in the Premier League.

He was a fucking wimp. He pulled out of more tackles than he went in for. Opposition players were guaranteed to win any tackle that was 70/30 in Boateng's favour. Savic has made some horrendous blunders but at least he isn't a shithouse.
Don't sit on the fence stony

Harsh, but I think he's right though. Something about boateng i just didn't like.

He was the biggest pussy in the squad at a position that requires cojones.

Struggling with injury? or couldn't be fookin arsed fighting for his place?

Obviously there was a player in him,you need not have been a top scout to see that, however,as said,it was never going to work as he just didn't want to be here.

Maybe he wasn't happy playing at right back
