Jesus Navas - 2016/17 performances

Wonderful at RB against a number of talented teams. Always liked him for his defensive aspects and stamina.
Would give him an extension to keep as a right sided utility player if he wants it. The only con of this would be the chances of Maffeo breaking through.

Pep might've stumbled onto something with him at right back here, he's been immense these last few games and as moses and valencia have shown you don't need to be a defender or even particularly great at defending to be an effective full back as long as you have good positional play, recovery speed and discipline which navas possesses. He's the teams' best right back atm.

The dynamic between him and Fernandinho is absolutely fascinating the way they alternate at RB.

No other coach in the country would be trying things like that and it's working really well.
