Jesus Navas (continued)

Re: Navas

I always think of wingers as being a soft touch, especially foreign ones, but this lad has been outstanding.
His general work rate for the team is tremendous, he doesn't shirk a tackle and the end product, final delivery of the ball, is very, very good

He has been a fantastic buy

Re: Navas

What still surprises me is that he can keep going for the full 90 despite running so fast. you'd suspect he'd be out of breath quickly,

Would be a great asset for Spain in the WC.

The spanish aaron lennon according to some football manager experts earlier on in the thread

Re: Navas

Saw enough in the opening game v Newcastle to know how brilliant he is.

Fast as fuck, direct, composed at the point of crossing, great deliveries, bags his fair share and has a tremendous work ethic.

Him and zabaleta were made for each other.

He is exactly the Spanish Aaron Lennon. As in, he's fast and dangerous, but in being Spanish he has been brought through a proper football Academy and has proper football philosophies and techniques driven into him at all levels from his time being brought up and being a professional in Spanish football and with the national team.

Fucking hell what an insult the Spanish Aaron Lennon - he is by far and away better than Aaron Lennon will ever be

Decent signing think he will be even better next season

Re: Navas

Always thought it was a pity he didn't use his full name more- Jesus Navas Gonzalez, Speedy Gonzalez would be such a good nickname.

Yeah, but do you know what he puts under his carpet?
kindly enlighten me.

Re: Navas

Would be interested to know his chances created this season, and minutes per chance created compared to others in our side. May not always get the assist but seems to frequently create good opportunities.

Re: Navas

Another very good performance, I doubt we would have scored 5 without him on the pitch tonight.

He's shit, can't beat a player or put a decent cross in, this is all a winger has to do & he fails at it!
Seem to remember seeing him go past Bardsley a few times - which game were you watching?
this was the first unread post for me in this thread

gonna let that sink in for a minute

patience is a virtue...
