Respect and thanks to a cracking little player with a great attitude and work ethic. With better coaching he probably would have improved his final ball. Still did well enough for us and great for Sevilla.

Remember him scoring against Spurs after about 10 seconds. I'd just put my pint down and walked onto the stand, looking at the goal just as it went in. Think we won 6-0.

Why is he finishing mid season?

A player who made the best of his abilities.
To have played so many games for a top class Spain team is a fantastic achievement.
He seems to have been a sound guy off the pitch and popular on it
