If navas played for the rags we would all be ripping the piss out of him.
He's work rate is second to none but not the quality of player we need to kick on.
Don't mind him staying as a squad player but not 52 appearances again.

No league goals in 2 seasons for a winger playing regular is astonishing regardless of workrate. Can you name any other wingers putting those numbers up?

So if he isn't scoring if he's making them then that's acceptable. But his assists number are fairly average as well.

But if it weren't for him pulling defenders out wide to him would we have as much space through the middle?

We have won the title and 2 cups with him in the team,he really has not lost us a game

How many games has he won us? That's the problem.

problem is we have quality, real quality, sadly last season they couldn't be arsed. give me a grafter with a bit about him every time.

But now we've got a manager who demands effort from every single player for every single second they're on the pitch. They'll all be grafting otherwise they'll be out of the side. What does Navas bring to the side when everybody is working just as hard as he is?

I'd like to see him in a team not hampered by Pellegrini's tactics. Not saying he'd turn into Messi, but he may actually be able to use his pace. Saying that, I'm hoping the same for Sterling

Yes as it would be another winger instead but one that contributes more

Why do people expect a traditional right footed right winger to score goals? That is not his job. His job is to cross and track back. It is assists that are the problem...and it is debatable about whether Navas was the problem there or the empty box he was crossing into.
