Jim Beglin commenting "Emptyhad" on Live TV | City lodge complaint (pg 38)

These jibes shouldn't bother us. I think for most of us they have become extremely boring if anything. Some fans have become so bitter towards us it is embarrassing.

The same has been said about Tyler Martin - by numerous Man City fans claiming bias against us - and an equal if not more number of Manchester United fans claiming bias against them - not to mention the possibly even more numerous Liverpool fans who swear that Martin hates Liverpool.

In America - Joe Buck - American Football/Baseball commentator can't catch a break.

Truth is, the slightest criticism of a home team is remembered and praise is glossed over.
I'm just asking if you had noticed it. I've been listening to him do our games for years and it's very obvious to me.
The other bloke (Peter Drury) that's on with him doesn't do it.

I haven't noticed it. I sometimes disagree whole-hartedly of course with specific opinions, mostly about whether such-and-such is was a penalty. My personality is such that I go with what I see. Sometimes pundits claim that, for example, a City defender didn't commit a foul whereas I disagree based on what I see. You'd hate me as a pundit!

Not at all. As long as you didn't make stuff up like Beglin does ; )

It's a matter of personal preference - cheers. You don't like him and that's OK with me :-)

Meanwhile there's this:
Not sure you can use one pretty awkwardly written article as evidence

Don't get all upset and pissed off about it. It doesn't matter.

We're 13 points clear. All that matters.

I get that some people genuinely don't care but there's nothing dipper about calling it out, as a pathetic thing to say. Especially from someone in his position. Also, a few need to bare in mind, you can't pretend you're too cool to care but then desperately try and shut everyone down, who is annoyed enough to say something about it. That's even more fussy, if anything.

It was probably deliberate or at best, a slip about something he was discussing with his Liverpool mates around him.

There was nothing wrong with the attendance today either. Especially considering the early kick-off and the weather. So if he was having a pop at that or discussing it close kick-off and that's where the slip came from, he's talking bollocks either way. Doubt it was about today's game though. It's probably just him being a sycophant.

Had to laugh reading that apology tweet thread. There's always that one person, who tries to sell the conspiracy, that City buy their own tickets. How dumb and uninformed can they be? To not see that it has no legs whatsover. There's professional journalists who fit that category too though, which is when it becomes more annoying than amusing.
