Oh, and also, if you're going to have a jibe at a club or fans for their attendance, probably best to not do it during a pandemic with thousands isolating.

I use "Emptyhad" all the time now when I talk to people. They ask me why I say that, I just just reply that we have no fans.
Genuine slip of the tongue imo, but the fact it happened suggests he believes it.
It’s hard to not believe it when it’s staring at you there in blue. There were patches of empty seats all around the ground today. Who cares?

There was a pause..... he knew what he was doing.I like Jim Beglin's commentary - maybe this was simply a slip of the tongue - accidentally repeating something he heard. He did immediately correct himself though... so who knows.
And for all those "offended" by it, let's just say if he was commentating on the rags and refered to the crowd as being "rags" before correcting himself, we'd be loving it

Shows how the media are hurting. We don’t care what they call us - it shows their ignorance & we can use it in our songs!!!It was caught by many in the first half Jim Beglin called our stadium the 'Emptyhad' then corrected it and said the Etihad!
