Jimmy & Joe To Sign New Contracts

I just cannot see how Jimmy thinks that going anywhere else would be an improvement. He might want a completely different challenge and go abroad, but I can't see that materialising!

Come on, Jimmy, get yer bloody biro out - can't be yer can't afford a refill!

10 hours left for city to get a fee .what's he going to do stick or make himself a free agent ?

not really, if he signs a contract we can get a fee later.[/quote
True but he's not going to sign a contract today and give up millions of £s in the summer when he can negotiate what signing on fee he wants

most likely yes

Like Mr. appointment though, I am not too worried about him leaving other than us not getting 10M in the bank. in a year or too, Lopes should be a better footballer

the only thing that worries me is that Hart will be the only Englishman left

Fantastic effort today, instrumental in us coming away with the point.

Like above, hopefully that performance suggests he has decided to stop fucking us about and sign.
Why do people always praise Milner for his effort as if all the other players weren't trying? Too many moves break down completely at his feet. Navas gets slated and he far more frequently produces something decisive or threatening. Nasri is better in almost every department.

I like Milner for his versatility and commitment but we shouldn't let him ransom his way into weakening our first eleven.

You think Milner's presence yesterday weakened us?!
No. I think Milner over Nasri weakens us for 9/10 games. Milner definitely has a place in the squad, but he shouldn't be one of the first names on the team sheet as many advocate imo.

Why should that worry you? It's not like there's a glut of top English players that would get a place in our squad, let alone replace one of the first choice 11.

The academy will sort that out for us, we just have to be patient.
