João Félix

Lautaro to Atletico...wow
Joao Felix soon?
-he has poor relationship with Simeone and now the fans.

I can imagine Felix being sold this summer. If Haaland's costs are unrealistic and Pep thinks Torres as main striker is too risky then we should be all over Felix.

Atletico are in poor financial shape too, new stadium completely empty and even then they are not rich club (they are in between poor and rich). If they are buying Lautaro then Felix sale is almost certainly going to fund it, he is their most saleable asset.

Someone mentioned in the other thread some type of deal where Jesus heads the other way. That might make a lot of sense for both teams if the money could be worked out

How much would Jesus be valued at in that swap deal?

Perhaps 50-60% of the value of Felix maximum. So we pay at least 40-50 million for a talented player but with less experience and an inferior scoring rate.

Would be a fantastic player to have in our team but don't think he will end up as a CF full time, trequartistsa or a winger if not further back as a CAM.

Felix has plenty of potential but cant see anyone (including us) getting close to what AM would want for him. The fee AM paid was ridiculous, there’s no way he was worth that when they paid it - and he’s not kicked on in a set up that doesn’t play to his strengths - he needs a move but I can’t see him getting one. From City’s perspective - we could accommodate him and Pep would make him what he could be - BUT we don’t need another false 9 we need a striker, a presence upfront...that player is Haarland.
