I agree with you and it's nothing to do with City or Txiki being poor negotiators. It's the fact that others will pay crazy prices for the trendy shiny thing and we'll accept that and sign 2nd/3rd choices who are still very good (I hope).

This year United, Barca and Real Madrid will be going loop da la throwing money around I suspect.
