Jo can play. And he seems like a nice lad.

No problem with him sticking round to add depth to the squad, useful 3rd/4th choice. He's our Kalou.
Exactly what I was thinking. He is a decent player, and like any player, it is hard to generate much form when you are in and out of the team. He isn't the greatest striker the world has ever seen, but he is better than a lot of other first choice strikers in the prem.

Has shown a great attitude recently and deserves credit for it.

He's not OUR first choice striker though is he ? Who is he better than at other clubs ?

DJ Campbell ?

Any at West Ham, Fulham, Everton....

He's doing what's asked of him, that's all the matters, we can't pick anyone else at the moment, if Ade is injured (leaving and not being selected), RSC broken toe nail, t'others suspended.

He led the line OK last night, a night where our only other available player was Nimley, scored 1, should have been 3, and should have earned at least 1 penalty.

I like him. He is more often in the right place to receive an opportunity to score than any other City striker, including Tevez, but they are not going in yet. But that will come! The natural instinct of him is to find himself in the right place with an opportunity to score, and the ball at his feet, or coming flying into him at pace. No one else has as much of that natural ability, Tevez included.

That bit is reminiscent of Sir Shaun the Goat, and as soon as they start flying in off his shin, elbow, backside then he could become a legend too!

Does the job the maneger asks him to do without moaning, a welcome change from some of the shit Mancini has had to deal with from other players.
Moan that he wants a 1st team spot? surely he ain't that ignorant? i could do better than this player on a sunday morning in the Wythenshawe league. He knows his limitations even if the manager doesn't currently. He'll be good for a stoke at best.

Heskey, Jerome, Roberts, Harewood, Campbell, Saha, Piquionne/Cole, Doyle

May well be a "nice lad"
But he is hopeless,
Its like playing with 10 men when he starts.
Played in amateur sides he wouldnt get in
Any half decent defender wouldnt give him a kick...
And if they gave him a kick he would cry!
Backbone of a jellyfish. Nice lad tho.
