Jo. Is it clicking into place?

This thread is mad. I cannot believe people are getting so carried away with a few pre-season performances. I will happily be corrected though if he is selected and does OK. People should remember we are aiming for the top four at least this season. Has Jo really became that good?

You can only go by what you see. So far we have seen a confident Jo who is scoring goals. No matter what happens this pre season has shown that he has got the ability and goals to be able to stay within this squad of 25.

wud make sense if caicedo, rsc n bellers leave...

ST: Adebayor, Jo
CF: Tevez, Robinho

then balotelli can play any of those positions so Jo wud be the fifth striker and wud probably be delighted with that :)

We'll have to see, but he's better and fitter than RSC at the momentand has shown far more endevour than Adebeyor.

Against prem league opposition - untested, against continental opposition (who we will play in Europa Cup) seems to have improved and seeing as Mancini says rotation will happen why not let him start for us up front away in Europa League and give Ade a rest.

This is going to sound harsh, but Jo seems to me a bit like a Brazilian Samaras (i.e. a step up in level, but with similar problems). He has moments of real skill and great finishes, but then cocks up the most simple pass or chance.

He clearly has talent, it's just producing it consistently enough and getting rid of stupid mistakes that's the problem. Whether he could produce it here given the correct coaching and match time who knows.

At least he is getting in the right areas. Could save City some money.

Jo or Bellamy in 25 if Jo gets in and we sell bellers to spuds ...., not on
