Jo

At this level of football and with this level of a player will we really take Jo back if he does well at Everton. Lets say Jo finds some form and scores some goals and therefore becomes well liked by Everon and their fans and possibly even qualifies for Europe, would he want to come back to a club where he's obviously had problems on and off the pitch. Todays footballers generally move on without a single thought for the leaving club if they find themselves loved somewhere else, they talk cheap and words mean fuck all.

true ........ if he does well he'll not finish at Everton due to their finances, but he'll end up somewhere else. I honestly can't see him play again for us as long as Hughes is the manager.

nah, hes not good enough to be in our first team so he can go to everton (where they will actually use him as a target man) do the business there then come back a decent player

watching him warming up at the stoke game he couldnt even control simple passes and at one point almost fell over the ball lol

It's a shame Jo is gone, I agree with alot of people and think in the long term he would have been an excellent player for us. Think he will do great at Everton, then Hughes will probably sell him for 5million and he'll tear us apart next season. Either way, this won't end well for Hughes and hopefully he'll finally get the sack!

Did anybody just realise that we gave an 18 million pound international Brazilian player to one of our main rivals in the league for fcuk all? Is Hughes mad or just crazy? Jo is twice the player of Bellamy, he never got the chance to show it because Hughes would'nt see quality if it was right smack in his face. Jo is the player that has ripped apart Inter Milan twice in the Champions League, he's a quality young player with a great left peg. HUGHES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, we gave a stirker who has done fuck all for us, demoralised the dressing room, went out clubbing faking sick and some silly Thai, with no football sense, rated at £18m (whose payment will not get higer than £6m due to add ons to make it £18m) to our nearest rivals.

Ive heard it mentioned a few times tonight if he comes back a better player, well this statement screams 2 major problems at me.

1) Wasn't he supposedly a better player before he came here, presumably thats why we bought him.

2) More worryingly if it takes loaning players out for ther managers to make them better players for us I'd be asking serious questions concerning our coaching staff.

Like I said earlier he'll only come back here if he fails at Everton.

The proof will be in the pudding, if Jo suddenly looks world class then MH is going to look a right twat, that’s why I don’t understand this decision, because he is leaving himself open to this backfiring spectacularly.

Curious how everyone thinks that we should give MH time, he needs games and lets give him untill the end of the season. (by the way this isnt another "hughes out" post - just making a point)

But when it comes to 21 year old full Brazilian internationals with more Champions League experiance than the rest of our strikeforce combined, 10 starts is enough to say "oh hes fucking shit lets get rid"......

Someone has already mentioned this but if he starts to show his abillity at Everton then it down raise serious concerns about our coaching staff and their ability to man manage.

Plus in the 13 games he has started, we have won 7, drawn 3 and lost 3. Two of those losses being liverpool and chelsea, he may not of scored goals but his alround play and link up is a lot better than most of our strikers. He is not a one up front but would be far more suited to a 2 upfront, or having someone play of him in a SS role.

Intresting. We was really unlucky in that Liverpool game aswell, and I think the Chelsea game was he's best for the club.
