Wow, he can score a penalty, what a superstar!

ooh you're not bitter! :)

...pleased for the lad. Can't see him returning if he does well as Moyes will excercise the option to buy which would be a shame. Ah well there you go

I'm not bitter, I'm glad for him, and agree with those who said all along that he was a good player.

What I don't agree with is those that are using it as part of their anti-Hughes agenda's.

Fair enough it just came out a bit harsh on Jo which I felt was unnecssary

The Hughes aspect is inevitable if Jo does well as it highlights a 'perceived' problem with Hughes and players like Jo. The Bellamy's of this world are all well and good but we ain't going to challenge for the top honours with this level of player. Whether Jo is the player we need to get there is also open to debate but I would rather we tried with a 21 y/o Brazilian international and bought him on so that in a years time we have player that may just have what we need to get us amongst the top clubs rather than spunking 12 mill on a 29 y/o forward with a poor injury record who will never get us there. Its back to Hughes being 'comfortable' with a certain type and level of player.

Well i sat here and read all your rants from a fickle bunch of fans..

I personaly dont mind man city

But trying to delude yourself in thinking your half the team everton is then your heads are in the clouds. To state we wont hold onto are posistion for long, name one team who will over take us? every year we are in or around this posistion and writen off each year. We have a team can play well, and fight when needed.
A solid defence, creative players and cohesion. IT call a TEAM something missing in skyblue colours.
Yes you have money and some over priced players.
But you lack cohesion, team spirit and players that love playing for the club.

Money cant buy you this.

As for Jo he looked a good player in russia average for city and showing promise for us.

The diffrence a settled confident side has on a player.

I do think city will come good in the end under Mark hughes as he will install a team that can play. But agree can he handle the big name players.

I have nothing against Everton personally, I'm just sick of your lot winning 1-0 almost every fucking game, usually from Cahill. Oh and you did let yourself down there a bit.

It's a sad day when a blue scouse posts the most sense on one of our own threads.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but not all of it. We aint too far off you really, just need time for that cohesion you were talking about. I don't think that's too far off now. Keep Jo sharp jut in case he's comong back.

I've got to be honest PR, I'd settle for City winning every game 1-0 .

Good luck to Jo............great start, but we'll see how he s done come May. If he does well mind, there's no way in the world he'll want to come back to us.

Just listened to Radio Manchester commentary and it wasn't Jo who scored it was some fella called Joar !
