Like somebody has already stated, his agent said he wouldnt be right untill christmas and he certainly didnt get that chance.

Fair enough he saw his arse and didnt do himself any favours but you just dont know what the Brazilian mafia were saying to him outside of the club.

I mentioned on Saturday that on Jo's performance in that dire game against Sporting, I would prefer us to get rid of RSC and keep him!

I personally thought that he was our best player against Sporting (which wasn't hard) and along with Nimely, he was our best player against NYRB with Tutte not far behind.

Hughes has no other strikers with Jo and still didn't want him, Moyes at times had no strikers and was playing midfielders and didn't want him, Galatasaray don't seem t owant him back. No doubt he has some talent to me he does nto look so specially talented that a place in a squad limited to 25 is waranted even if he put in an adequate display in a pre season friendly or two. I say this in spite of having rated Jo when he first came. He may get himself up to premiership level but he doesn't look likely to become a really top striker.

he may have grown up a bit, he has a lot of talent. But clearly had a bad attitude. i have been pretty impressed with him pre season, he has worked hard and done what was needed. ie pass to a blue shirt and score.

He's only 23 now, pretty early in is career, a change in attitude would pay dividends for him and whatever club he plays for.

That Galatasary compilation is basically just two minutes of him either falling over or missing the target with a couple of tap ins and a penalty wedged in for good measure. He doesn't even look that good when he's warming up.

I think I'd rather see Felipe Caicedo given another chance to be honest. Anyone know why he hasn't gone to the US of States with the rest of the squad?

He seems to see the light every few months, put a bit of effort in before falling back into his old ways. I remember he looked useful at Everton at the start of his loan spell but then Moyes got tired with his poor attitude and sent him back.
He has been linked with some clubs in Eastern Europe or Russia, I expect him to be off there by the start of the season.

That leaves Balotelli out of the equation then i guess.

Possibly, I don't pretend to have an encyclopedic knowledge of continental footballers. But if he comes here and walks around with his lip out then I'd rather he didn't bother. It always ends in tears. Mancini seems to think he can get the best out of him though.
