Jo

Jo played well for me, passed the ball and tried to take his chances; we never got out of first gear. A comfortable, injury free win was order of the day and that's what we got. As an aside loved the fact that the team worked so hard to try and get silva a goal - he does look a little lightweight right now but he'll come good!

Just got back and i have to admit he was really really bad tonight
No energy, passing was poor and jeverything thing he did just didnt work
a few people were praying he was injured when he went down so he could be subbed
Must add Adebayor wasnt much better

my biggest problem with jo is he actually has the worst first touch in the world his control always lets him down.

as for RSC he's the perfect striker for long ball tactics its when you play it he his feet that he fooks up and since we don't play longball....

Neither Jo or Adebayor are the type of player i want to see in a City shirt, this isn't kneejerk because they were both bloody awful tonight,it's because they both lack an inner strength/desire and work ethic that is being instilled into the club. The manager knows this and is why the rumours of further incoming transfers have not gone away

No. No no no no no.

Jo has come back this summer and shown the desire to stay with the club, he worked hard in the pre-season and the manager has shown CONFIDENCE IN HIM. Since you're a RAG I don't expect you to understand this but if you watched press conferences with the manager you would see he is confident in keeping Jo as a member of the squad. Same goes for Adebayor, he is our new number 9 for the season. Now bugger off and go read some shite from goal.com or something.

Definitely wasn't coincidence that Silva either looked for the run of SWP or had a go himself whenever he got near goal.
Pretty sure he sent it far post a couple times for Jo...and Jo returned the favour with a cross and pass further on in the match...
Rag?? Because i disagree with your assessment and can see further than the end of my nose, you daft ****,stick to watching ice hockey dickhead.

If your going to get your knickers in a twist everytime the manager bloods a young striker who he thinks he can work with i'd go and invest in a 'Knicker untwister'. I think JML make one.

Mancini sees potential in Jo. Jo tore Inter to shred in the Champs League a few years ago and Mancini has admitted to of been tracking him when we signed him. He has said he watched him play in Russia a few times.

Ive put potential in bold because as per usual City fans are all over a young player because he isnt a automatic finished product. Some goon behind me slagged of Cunningham when he came on. Why not try to encourage the youner players and maybe you will reap the rewards.

It took the Tranny a couple of season to settle. Cesc was at Arsenal about 3 years before he got upto speed. Trust the manager, he knows more then you do....

I see more potential in Jo than RSC, obviously so does Mancini.

Done OK tonight, wasn't great, but wasn't as bad as some are making out either.

It's a shame, I would love Jo to come good, but if we're being honest with ourselves, he's simply not up to the standard we require.

I don't think Jo was that bad tonight.

My only gripe is I personally would rather Caicedo be given the chance to develop.
