Everyone is different I suppose but for me:

Brilliant on the pitch moaner off it (Tevez) fine

OK on the pitch moaner off it (Ade Bellamy) I can live with

Great on the pitch great off it (Kompany NDJ Silva) I love

Crap on the pitch but OK off it (Crocky) I'd rather they went

Crap on the pitch and crap off it (Jo) I won't boo him but feck off, no sympathy
Jo was good off the pitch, VERY good. He never moaned once.

I wish him luck, thank him for his constant professionalism and I'm sure he'll have a decent career abroad.

Narked me that Jo got a few run outs last year instead of Guidetti. Couldn't for the life of me see the point in that. Bye Jo, I liked your dancing on the FA cup final dressing room camera, er and that's about it. ;)

He probably did moan but nobody could hear his voice over the noise of the fruit machines and roulette wheels.

Go back to page 5 and read up. Then we can talk.

NEWCASTLE SHOULD CONSIDER SNAPPING UP CITY STRIKER ON THE CHEAP

GONE!

<a class="postlink" href="http://mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2011/July/Jo-leaves-Manchester-City" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2011/J ... ester-City</a>

No fee mentioned but seems permanent?

I note the Given story is very complimentary and concludes "Popular with fans, team mates and staff at the club alike, Shay leaves City with our best wishes."

Contrast the Jo article, which is very matter of fact (downright cold in fact) and offers no best wishes or anything. Speaks volumes about what the club things of him, i.e. not a lot.

Yeah, I thought that. Even Boateng got a ''best wishes'' type send off!
