We have literally done Barca a favour here.
Barcelona knew all they had to do was hold out till the last day. In some ways, would have been better if we just accepted what they wanted a month ago.

Danny Mills 2.0We don’t really hold any cards after giving him a lucrative contract extension and then deciding we don’t want him here. We were never going to be able to sell him, let alone for a decent fee, unless he was willing to go to Saudi Arabia, which he wasn’t. We’ll probably face the same issue every summer until his contract expires, so best to get used to it.
