You've made an assumption that I supported him over Pep. I haven't.
I don't actually care about any tit for tat between them. Players fall out with managers all the time. He's not coming back. He's on big wages and the club don't have the higher bargaining position in terms of negotiating what was the market value before the fallout so I'm not getting my knickers in a twist about them selling at a loss either.
I took issue with the needless insensitive tone of your post and the way you talked about aspects of issues that you didn't even need to touch on. Cancelo talked about the robbery in his latest comments he didn't say anything about losing his mother.
Dragging it up in the way you did was a ****'s trick. You've only proved yourself a **** by telling me I have mental issues.
You still here petal?
Cancelo first became problematic to City LONG BEFORE the House robbery incident, which suggests his behavioural issues are long-standing.
When Pep moved him to left back after Mendy's injury & court woes, he settled down for a couple of seasons, even making the PL team of the season.
However, his form deteriorated just as Aké began to get Pep-Ball, so between Aké & Laporté he lost his place, & his behavioural issues flared up again.
Instead of pulling his finger out & proving he deserved to be in the starting line-up, he was walking around the CFA & the Etihad with a face like a smacked arse.
He started for Portugal in the Winter World Cup, but after two games & poor performances, he lost his place & started acting up during the tournament.
He returned to City still angry, & continued with his belligerent behaviour here. We'd already sold Zinchenko so he should've been our first choice LB, but his form was woeful & Pep preferred Aké or Laporté instead.
It's at this point the football world we're stunned when it was confirmed he was in Munich having a medical with a view to a loan move, as City were trying to negotiate an obligation to buy.
It's also around this time that rumours of the training ground bust up with Phil happened, & you think his surprise mid-season loan to Bayern was sheer coincidence?
I'm all about the collective rather than the individual, so all things considered I supported Guardiola's decision, albeit I was gutted it all ended the way it did.
Have you forgotten his celebrations when Bayern scored against us in the CL? He wasn't exactly endearing himself to City supporters. However, with rumours of his falling out with Bayern's coaching staff there was a real possibility he'd be back with City that summer, & so it proved as he ended up going on the pre-season tour to Japan with us.
He's moved on to Barça & I've always wished him the best with his future endeavours, but this week he's decided to attack Guardiola out of the Blue. Why?
The issue you seem to have overlooked is Cancelo's STILL our player, & unless we sell him or arrange another loan, he'll be back here in July after his character assassination of Pep. Haven't you even considered that nightmare scenario?
We seriously don't need that level of tension & toxic negativity around us, with all the media attention it will attract.
If you wanna support Cancelo & be understanding toward him, that's your business, but you can fuck right off trying to get on the backs of City fans who want nothing more to do with him, & his toxic behaviour.
Now do as you said you were going to do & end the discussion. Stop digging, throw the shovel out of the hole you're in & go to your bed. It's for the best, as you're now sounding more emotionally unhinged than Cancelo.
