A lot of this is subjective and unknown we don’t know what happened to cause this situation and we don’t know what the figures are in terms of transfers loans wages and what they should be is subjective.I dont disagree with you that he should be allowed to play football BUT we shouldnt bend over backwards to accommodate him because he has put himself in this position with his attitude.
We did it once last season when for whatever reason he had a fallout with pep and we allowed him to go on loan to a cl competitor even tho there was nothing beneficial in it for us and what did he do , he once again showed an appallingly bad attitude at bayern and they didnt want to buy him and now we are stuck with him and whats to say he goes to barcelona for nothing, we pay 30% of his wages and he ends up back with us next season because his attitude has struck again which it almost certainly will.
What i am saying is that we owe him nothing, he is being paid alot of money and if he continues to show an attitude that precludes him from being part of our squad then we dont have to acquiesce to barcas demands because he is being a little brat and wants to move where he wants.
You say you don’t disagree that he shouldnt be stopped from playing but if no one buys or loans him and we do as you wish and don’t put him in the squad then that’s exactly what will have happened
