Read the piece on City in The Athletic (link on thread about it), he ends up at CB in most games when he starts as a RB anyway. But he isn't very good there.

But he isn't very good there.
Only seen him play there for England, looked ok and would improve with coaching.
Instead of sane, it could have the same effect on mahrez who is uncomfortable playing so wide. Allowing him to come inside more often would see him more comfortable and more like his Leicester role. This deal would make City more complete than ever. I just hope we can keep Sané and see these guys work the right flank together, using him to cut inside (Robben-style) while Cancelo provide all of the crosses. I think it's the longterm idea by Guardiola. Obviously the same goes for the other side with Mendy and Sterling. I've been quite harsh when criticizing Walker the past year or two for several reasons (mostly his lack of offensive qualities), but yesterday he was one of our best players. Either way, we would have two great right backs if this goes through!
Pep doesnt trust him thats why he only made 7 league starts there were parts of the season when walker was playing awful yet danilo never played
Pretty much yes, keep seeing post that say he was disastrous or not very good in that role for England which apart from a couple of positional errors wasn't my memory of the world cup at all.We see him play there all the time, it's our default set up in posession. Zinchenko/Delph into midfield, Walker + 2CBs as a back 3. 70% of the game is spent like that.
I'm pretty sure Southgate even said seeing Walker play that role for us was why he put him in a back 3 in the first place.
And has headed completely the opposite way, going south instead of heading north.A gulfstream G150 private jet has just departed from Turin airport.

Just taking the scenic route. And has headed completely the opposite way, going south instead of heading north.
But there are 3 bombardier challenger private jets heading towards central Europe, where they originated and are heading is a negative.
Well let’s hope the pilots know better!!! Just jokingAnd has headed completely the opposite way, going south instead of heading north.

Think this will give us more tactical flexibility and get even more out of Bernardo & Mahrez.Instead of sane, it could have the same effect on mahrez who is uncomfortable playing so wide. Allowing him to come inside more often would see him more comfortable and more like his Leicester role.
If we don't have at least 5 members at the airport with bino's and flightchecker refreshed every 0.2ms is it really a transfer window?A transfer window would not be a transfer window without flightchecker IMO :-)
Can you link us up?Well I'm pretty convinced this could have him on board, certainly heading our direction anyway, around 120 miles South of Paris near Troyes
