This is tremendous business by Juve. How the fuck does Juventus manage to do such deals ? Pellegrini is a top prospect.

I really think it's done, all major journalists saying it's done and medical checks might already be tomorrow.
Didn't know you knew him, he's a young prospect and a lot of fans at the news mistook him for the midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini who is also young and also owned by Roma.

I really liked the character he showed in the U20 World Cup even if he was played in midfield.
And we managed to do such business because he's a young Italian player, so we have a bit of an advantage ;)

If you believe pretty much any of the reporting the holdup was entirely on our side... We apparently need to sell Danilo first.

Latest news: we've apparently sold our reserve LB (Spinazzola) to Roma in exchange for 10m + a decent 19-year-old LB.
That means we've made a gain of 20-something millions from Spinazzola before presenting our 2018/19 financial report on July 1st, which was what we'd planned to do with Cancelo.
Hence, Cancelo might stay after all since talks with Man City seemed to be more problematic than expected.

This is just my personal reasoning of course.

Several reports are saying negotiations are still ongoing, & Danilo is still in the equation, albeit Juve would prefer a straight €52m cash deal.

1st July will be a telling date, so we'll just have to wait for it I suppose.

They were trying to get rid of him, how will that make him feel, would you be happy to carry on at work where they didn't want you?unless they give him a sweetener he will go, where i don't know imo

It doesn't mean that the deal is certainly off, just that now we don't have to urgency caused by our July 1st financial report.
Then, as always, the sale depends on our two clubs agreeing on the same terms.

Well then, the solution is simple. Never buy from or sell to an Italian club. I wonder why no one's had this idea before.

E.g. "bottlers" is usually associated with Spurs, if you're referring to us you'll have to be more specific.
