Cancelo would give us more varied tactical options, enabling us to change to a 4-2-1-3 or even 3-5-2 especially with the option of Angelino (if Mendy isn’t fit) bombing forward down the left.
 
Fantastic player, would be an improvement on Danilo.

Hopefully goes through but where exactly does that leave Danilo? As much as I've never really warmed to him he's been a very good servant of the club and doesn't deserve to get pushed if he doesn't want to go.
 
I'd be thrilled with this. He would come in and instantly be one of the very top right-backs in the league. Over the next five years he'll be competing with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Josh Kimmich and Dani Carvajal as the best right-back in the world.
 
Wish it was Walker going - not Danilo - but hope we get this guy and he’s what we need. Because last season the lack of attack from RB was driving me nuts. And I’m already nuts. So I was in danger of going nuts squared.

Would be interesting where Danilo goes , because u like the LB position , we won't be keeping 3 RBs , regardless of some suggesting walker could play CB.

I'd have to disagree. I think he'll bring more then Ake or Alderweireld can to our squad.

Even thot I believe it's time to move Otamendi. Which leaves us with2 senior players. I'd rather have Garcia, and Sandler as backups with Cancelo than Ake or Alderweireld as backups without Cancelo.

Let's flip it. Cancelo is definitely inferior to Danilo, especially defensively. Argue against that.

We attack 90% of every game. That’s our strength. Cancelo is a big upgrade on walker. I think it’s a perfect signing. I don’t watch serie A but the common theme is that he has the potential to be the best in the world and from the small research I’ve done it doesn’t look to be hyperbole.

Potential to best in the world .... Pep .... get him in. Juve has to unload too. They don’t want to unload him.

I like Danilo too fwiw.

We attack 90% of every game and we can do that because 4 players hold their position at all times and one of those is Walker.

I rate Walker too. The squad and depth is just beyond silly and I mean that in the best way. When attackers are going for €120m were set for the next 5 windows. We can get this guy for €60, get a ban (lol at that btw) and be totally set with nothing for windows to come. Especially if we sign the proper CB.
 
the Danilo / Otamendi substitutions v Brighton looked clearly as farewell substitutions, seems odd they both havnt left as yet
