I don't see this one happening myself. Juve seem happy to sell, but for a price they've set, to make a profit. The player only signed last year, so they are in no rush, and an attacking manager has come in that could use the player. If the reports are to be believed, we seem unwilling to pay their asking price, but are not far off? It supposedly looked close before 1st july when juve reportedly needed to balance their books and would have accepted less, but now after they sold their LB and cleared that hurdle they can seemingly hold out for their asking price. We are also reportedly not the only club interested, with bayern and barca supposedly both willing to make offers. (appreciate i say reportedly/supposedly a lot, but this is the media we're talking about, what can really be believed/true?)
meanwhile, nobody has come in for danilo yet. he maybe doesnt need sold Before cancello is signed, but would need moved on within the same window, and at least some indication of a move happening might be needed.
Our window ends two weeks before everyone else's, so any other interested clubs can wait till we drop out mid august. we can still sell danilo abroad after that, but clubs will know we need to. So i myself cant see any movement on this till someone makes an offer for danilo, and we or juve or both make an effort to agree on the asking price.
As for danilo vs cancello and who is better, i honestly don't know enough about cancello to have an opinion. But danilo is a good player, and has done well for us, and im not worried at all if he stays. Remember, he had a long term injury he picked up with brazil last season, imho, he would have challenged walker more if he was available. He certainly did fine in the run of games he was preferred to walker. I don't rate him as highly as some on here do, but im happy having him in the squad, and going into next season without replacing him.
