The fans get to choose because they are going to be working a fan based role.
Also the HR department have narrowed down loads of entry's to 3.
It still doesn't sit right, how do we know that there were loads of entries? And if they are so interested in getting the fans views maybe we should have seen all the entries? Were there any women who applied? Just because it is a fan based role doesn't mean that the fans should be the ones choosing!! All we see is 1 minute of a video with the answer to one question. How can you judge someone's competency for a major role in our club on that 1 minute 3 seconds and 1 minute 2 seconds.
Crazy. (IMHO)
This sums up very well why this whole idea is ridiculous.
I appreciate their attempts at fan outreach but there was nothing wrong with the former system. This, City Voice and the like are poor solutions.
The internet and matchday is absolutely full of opinions on these matters, having one person be the "representative" makes me feel that they don't understand the concept of representation.
Look at hoe passionately opinions differ on the relative merits of a player on here and how wide those views are. There's no way that one person, no matter how qualified they are or aren't, could possibly represent fans.
It's a bit patronising to be honest. Like they think we're one homogeneous group of flag waving chippy Mancs who love Oasis and think the Poznan is the height of hilarity and "having a good time". If they want to know "what being a Cityzen truly means", and it's been spelt as Citizen for 70 years you fucking idiots, then why don't they use things like videocast meetings and the like to get as wide an opinion as possible?
Pisses me off this type of stuff. It's marketing bollocks, and even worse than that it's incredibly poor marketing bollocks.
