I doubt it as he wasn't rested he was dropped

Well if he was dropped Panti will definitely playing tomorrow then. You dont drop a player then bring him back for a player that has done little wrong you do however return the player you've been resting.

Don't confuse the lad! If he wants to tell himself big bad joe was dropped then let him, bless him!
What a strange quote!

Pants has done nothing wrong at all, I doubt very much that Hart will be in goals tomorrow. Who the hell would want to be our no.2 when they can't get in the starting 11 even when the other guys making howlers every other game.

Agree pants hasn't done anything wrong but I reckon he took Hart out the firing line for a few games and Pellegrini probably spoke to both of them about what he was doing, he seems the diplomatic kind
Only original conversation between MP, Panti and Joe when he was stood down holds the key to this conundrum.
As a Hart inner I'd be extremely surprised if he replaced Panti just on the strength of what he's seen recently. In fact I'm not buying into this 'scoop' at all. Ain't happening for me.

does anyone here not have the time to take a step back and consider

a) the paper said the manager is mulling over the situation we think

and

b) Pellegrini has earned the right to make a decision in the best interests of Manchester City Football CLub

errr, but our 'number 2' did get in to the starting 11. That's what this debate is about. And it's exactly the same for every other club in the world, you need a good backup but you hope they're never actually required to play.

That's why!? it's a set up for another piece in another rag

IMO he is not one of the best.

For some reason I cannot take to him and that wouldn't matter if he was one of the best.

If he gets to the level of Coton or Corrigan then I may warm to him.

Corrigan took a while so maybe Joe will too.

Erm he was dropped, have you not seen how shit he's been this last year,no confusion about it !

Most media saying Pantilimon tomorrow then. Right call. even if you want Hart back in the team, tomorrow would have been a ludicrous game to do it in, he makes a mistake and it could cost us our season.

Needless pressure on him if thats his first game back.

I reckon he could rotate them over the packed christmas schedule tbh, maybe giving Pantilimon the big games, but Hart starting against Fulham/Palace etc. build up his confidence.

Yep, let's hope he gets to the grand total of league championship medals won between those two. 'Cause at the moment it's a very close thing. For those that don't know, current scores on the doors:

Corrigan / Coton .......a resounding, yet consistent.....nil, Hart, clearly not in their league.....one. Still, there's plenty of time for Coton and Corrigan to overtake Joe and place him firmly in the pantheon of City keepers where he truly belongs: next to Keith McRae
