Joe Hart (continued)

I like Costel I really do and believe he is a very solid keeper and is a great back up to have but in my opinion Joe is a better keeper. I know he has made mistakes this year but on his best he is one the top keepers around and the only way he will get back to his best is by playing again. I can understand him being dropped but in games like this I would be much happier with Joe between the posts everyone remembers every mistake he has made but few seem to remember the amazing saves he has made to keep us in games. I know Pantilimon hasn't done much wrong but to keep your place just because you are yet to make a mistake seems abit wrong to me. I mean Milner played very well against Bayern but were still dropped.

Some posters are calling Joe the number 1 keeper because of sentimental, emotional and nationalistic reasons. Not on form or attitude. They can do this because their choice on an internet forum carries no consequences. This is why management get slated for making perfectly logical and rational decisions. Personally i just want the best player in any given position, on the pitch, in any given match barring rotation considerations. That for me, at the moment, means Pants in goal.
