I think he should shave his head. That will sort him out.

Regardless I think he should restored to the starting line-up against Spurs, but it's difficult to predict if Pellegrini will do so.

Tough to drop Pants as he hasn't done much wrong....... not much right either though tbh.

I played keeper regularly for over thirty years; not at anything approaching a notable standard but it does give you some perspective on the role and also how important experience is. My positioning and reading of the game never stopped improving.

Yes, coaches come and go and for outfield players I don't think its such a big deal but for a keeper its virtually 1:1 sessions. Pelligrini was always going to bring his own man in and Joe can't demand who he wants but by all accounts he works very well with the England coach (Dave Watson who was also Joe's coach at Birmingham). I'd be going all out to get him on our staff. If you think that Joe started out under Sven he must have had 4 different coaches since then (if you include his time out at Birmingham) who presumably have different training methods. Like I say, probably not that big a deal if you are training as part of a team but for a keeper I'd imagine it matters.
He's also been coached by more than one England keeper coach on top, all could be telling him different things.BlueForever123 said:Anyone else think that what might help Joe is a bit of consistency re the goalkeeping coach?
