Joe Hart (continued)

Costel showed he is not a top goal keeper when he let Sunderland score the other week.

Joe Hart just needed a rest. I expect Pellegrini to pick him today.

After the Chelsea gaff Joe had to be dropped and i think most City fans will agree on that !! So pants gets his chance and until he fucks up he should keep the gloves, What motivation is there for a second string keeper if he is dropped for doing nothing wrong yet the number 1 choice is given chance after chance after mistake after mistake ??
I agree that is a problem and applies throughout the squad. Every player needs to feel he has the confidence of the management to be given his chance together with the backing to stay in the team if he's playing well and the team is winning. We did not win at Sunderland and Costel did not look good against Spurs but my argument is that doesn't matter, he shouldn't be picked ahead of Hart in the first place. Hart is demonstrably the better keeper over a long period and his presence in the team increases our chances of winning games. I see the strength of your point though and if Costel were a better keeper it would be a clincher given Joe's poor form.

How many will Joe concede vs Swansea? 2? 3?

What a dumb thing to post
Agree..what a daft post...let's think of the worst? Last few prem games wud suggest clean sheet...but again let's all be negative and think the worst!

I was just being a realist, judging from Joe's recent games.

He should probably learn from De Gea and Szczesny who were in a similar situation and got out of it quite nicely.

I'd be happy if Hart was sold for a better keeper in January or the summer. Pants is doing well and in my opinion he's shown he's good enough to keep the error prone Hart out of action for a while.

Sorry to the Joe fan-boys out there, but he's really not as good as you think. Even he thinks he's better than he is....and that's where the problem lies.

Yet another bluemoon mind reader

If he doesn't get back in in the next month can see his agent leaking that he wants a loan or a move..

You obviously didn't watch us against Cardiff,Villa,Chelsea and Bayern then and that's just off the top of my head this season !

I expect you are wrong on all fronts.

I see the hipsters are still here claiming that joe will be gone soon and that he's a shit keeper etc

The bottom line is that he doesn't want to go anywhere and Pelli wants him to stay, ultimately as no1 for years to come.

Does he need a rest? Most would say yes, but he will be back sooner rather than later and when he is lifting trophies again and winning more golden gloves the posters slagging him will soon disappear
