Joe Hart (continued)

Watching Hart throwing little things at the coaches (probably Kidd) left me with a feeling of irritation and unprofessionalism. Dzeko for exemple is a great sub because when he sits on the bench he focus on the play and his opponents. I was also a little bit annoyed it had to be the three English players in the squad with their names in the media recently. Milner is the perfect exemple how to try and fight for what can end up in playing a lot of games end May 2014.

Than again, we don't know how long the banter took, and at what particular moment during play it was. It's not the 1st time a director chooses to show an image taken at a completely different time, but used at another time during the live match. I was never aware this happened until I saw a programm about why the FIFA is very cautious using tv-coverage.

Anyway, no big deal unless Pellegrini becomes aware and judge it as unprofessional behaviour. Lescott and Richards coming out in the media with displessure about little playing time might have something to do with both of them sitting on the bench.

I understand the concept of those on the fringes staying there due to a perceived lack of interest. Coaching sport I've turned many a time to make a personnel change and the person I'd want would either be too busy chatting or didn't look focused and I'd move on to the next person who did.

Yes I played team sport and I've coached, and coached coaches. I'm not going to get into it but trust me I know a fuckload about getting peak performance out of a group dynamic in team sports, enough to have been flown over to talk to 6000 other sports coaches in my sport about getting the most out of your team through individual buy in to the concept of "team". Anytime I've seen a player act like Hart did, they've been moved on on the basis of it having a negative impact on group focus to your goals. Behind the scenes I guarantee Hart is getting the very best approach by our coaching staff, but come game day he's at work and should conduct himself as such. His persona reeked of not caring as he wasn't involved. You might say I'm basing that off a minute long clip, but if that camera is MP's eyes when he turns around, then he's seeing the same thing-a player not focused on the game that is taking place.

Let me put this to you another way; you've been disciplined for poor performance at whatever it is you do for a living. A co-worker is given an important role you see as something that you should be doing, as your better than this person at the role. However your boss has gone with the other person as he thinks you aren't applying yourself correctly. So you need to get in the bosses good books or you may even lose your job, despite the fact you were so good at it for the last couple of years. In order to fix this, what do you do?Do you keep your head down and focus, or do you sit behind your boss during your shift cracking jokes and distracting all around you? Do you see this as working for you in order to regain your bosses trust?

I said it a few weeks ago he needs to buck up. It's his focus is the route of all his problems and poor decisions. He is a world class keeper on his day. It needs to be every day, and if he applied the correct attitude it would be.

He has by all accounts knuckled down and focussed, training hard to get back to his best.

This is just a bit of light relief between mates which can be seen on a bench at every football game at some point.

Maybe pellers should bring in a no laughing or smiling rule, like Di canio was reported as doing....................it was harmless fun.

Look at it this way, if he was being rested it would probably be seen as harmless fun and nothing would be made of it. He isn't being rested. He's England's number one and he's been benched..the eyes of the media and everyone else are on him. The 90 mins of the game he knows a camera will be trained on him.
Do you think Boyata, Milner or Rodwell would do something like this? Not a chance. Why? They are worried about their position and want to be seen as professionals to impress their boss and establish themselves in his plans.

Rodwell laughed at Hart at one stage.

To the gallows with him.

This thread has attracted the morons like flys to shit

Any excuse to have a go at joe currently, like a bunch of vultures.

In a few weeks the fad of kicking joe when he is down will die down and he will be flavour of the month

This thread and some of the contributions will be a smear on our great support and one or two will be embarrassed

Well I won't,as I still believe in the lad.He just needs a severe dose of cop on,and may have to get it the hard way.but when he does,he'll return to dominance.its just annoying to see a guy with his talent not playing to his potential this year.
