Joe Hart (continued)

Can't see why people are saying he had a good game against Bayern! Maybe the goals were not his fault but he didn't really help to try and keep them out did he? He rushed out for Mullers goal and didn't even stick a leg out (harsh but may as well have stayed on his line if he isn't going to attempt saving it after rushing out) and for the second goal by the time Gotze had kicked it he was already on the floor, he went down well too soon.

The first goal deflected off AK it was the change in direction that left Joe flat footed
100% didn't deflect off Kolarov it went straight in it just skimmed off the surface and he didn't make any attempt whatsoever to save it and was miles off his line as usual!

Some people on this thread need to pop outside in order to give their heads a jolly good wobble!

I've read some shit on threads on this forum but some of this bilge about Joe and his keeping ability by people who know absolutely fuck all about professional football let alone professional goalkeeping is frankly absurd and laughable - just stop it you're making twats out of yourselves!

Could it be city want to protect their asset?
As the Jan window opens a 2 nd choice Joe is worth much less.

Me I'd play him either way. He's done his time.

And if he stays on his line Muller has just as easy a task with a much bigger target. He was left unprotected by his defence and the fact you're trying to put that goal on him is a bit of a joke.

Surely it should be a case of pantillimon losing his spot rather than joe being brought back after doing his time? Pants has done nothing to deserve getting dropped. Sends out the wrong message to him if he does drop him.
'We will play you due to harts form being poor, but when we face a top team we will drop you again'. I'd be rightly pissed off if that was me. The keeper position is unique, and to be dropped means you have lost form and have played yourself out of the team. It's impossible for hart to play his way back into the team if Pants has done nothing wrong.
Playing with fire if you ask me.

I know a lot about both,at least enough to know how poor he's been, more than enough to warrant dropping and Panti has been a lot more steady than him.

as I say they may just want his value kept at a premium. he's is good enough to come back in though. as for pants there is no room for sentiment. on the field or the balance sheet.

It may sound blunt but it's always been a case of Joe losing his place rather than Pantilimon earning it.

Therefore it's up to Joe to earn it back, (he's done as many things wrong as Pants has in their respective games since Chelsea), instead of having to wait in the wings for a cock up.

It's been noted that Hart has stayed behind in training and put extra work in, I'm sure things like that will play as much a part in the decision to bring him back, whenever that may be.

Playing with fire would actually be to keep him as a 'cup keeper' as if a club did come in for him they, and Joe, would hold all the cards.

at the end of the day joe is the better keeper, nobody can dispute that, he needed grounding for a while but now should be back.
I know if I was an arsenal player which goalie I'd rather be facing.

pants is a fine stand in and joe will never be as complacent again.

If Joe comes back in and has a bad Christmas period, I fear for him in the January transfer window. There's no getting around how much he let us down early in the season.
