Joe Hart (continued)

Nice try but you've been rumbled Lavinda. :)

No problem though mate. I believe you like to be free to change your mind on an almost daily basis. I'm sure in a few months Joe will be back to being the apple of your eye!

Ahh the good old 'more luck than judgement' defence. Certainly a Bluemoon favourite that one!

Behave yourself you cheeky bugger...!

If Joe does become the apple of my eye in a few months, I'll complain about City wasting 6 million on Willy C.

I don't think I'll be complaining, but I'll be ready to do so if necessary.

Have a good day my new friend!

I rate Joe Hart and think that he will be a better keeper than he was for some of last season. He had a blip, he worked hard to redress the balance and get back on track. He will be our number one and the new man will be number two and will probably play in the cup matches leaving Joe to concentrate on the PL and the CL.

As for Joe and the England team, how many times have people said that every goal keeper needs the right defence in front of them? The England team were rubbish and everyone knew they would be before they even got on the plane with Hodgson's obsession/love in with all things rags and Liverpool related!! As a person I like Hodgson but as an England manager he has got to lay his you know what's on the line and stand up to the morons at the FA!!!

Just my humble opinion and I wish we could resurrect Alf Ramsey as I want to watch England win the WC again before I die. You know what they say, 'once is never enough'!!!! :-)

Martin Lipton doing a hatchet job on Joe in today's Mirror:

England lacked the basics - " A keeper who holds his own nerve, rather than allowing his anxieties, his desperation to do well,to have a destabilising effect on the men in front of him". No other England player is singled out in the same way.

"While Joe Hart conceded as many goals - four - as he made saves, Neuer has been immaculate"

"But in a tournament which has been about the keepers, the German and Navas have been giants. Head and shoulders above the rest, Joe?"

Totally disproportionate and unfair criticism.

Thats shit even by Journo standards. Also Neuer has not been immaculate he was at fault for Oscar's goal in the semi wandering out into no mans land. Which highlights the point no keeper is perfect. They all make mistakes like every player does they are just in the unfortunate position where their mistakes are highlighted more.

I agree this is poor for a journo.

Regarding Neuer, he was back in position by the time Oscar shot (who also had to beat a defender)

It was 7 nil with minutes to go, otherwise Neuer would have competed with Oscar for the through ball. There was no loin risking getting sent off at that point.

If this report is true......Looks like there could have been a different keeper playing next to Hart if Willy wasn't signed...

AS: An investment group close to City has bought Argentine GK Gerónimo Rulli (22), were going to send him to City but plans changed (Willy).

I remember reading a while back we were interested in Rulli but surprised an investment group has snapped him up.
