Joe Hart/England 'Fans'

Just ask your rag mates if they consider G Neville to know anything about the game...Ask them what his opinions are on Joe Hart. They will soon shut up.
Best keeper around. I watched England with two rags Friday, they were both very confident that Hart would come and collect every corner. Some keepers make a slight fuck up, concede a corner and then the corner is scored from. If Hart fucks up, he comes and cleans the corner out. That makes him class.

Hart rarely makes a mistake, he certainly makes very few absolute blunders. The mistakes he does make are never too bad, and are mistakes that would not even be highlighted if they were made by most keepers, as it's Joe and he's World Class even a minor misjudgment is considered a 'gaffe'.

I get slightly miffed when I hear Hart mentioned as the best in the world.

How can you quantify best in the world for a goalkeeper? How many keepers from other leagues do we watch on a regular basis to give this judgement?

Hart is a very good keeper and will be our number 1 as long as he stays hungry and motivated, however to laud him as the best in the world is perhaps short-sighted. The only "best in the world" goalkeeper that I can remember from the EPL era is Schmeichel when he was at the rags, and unfortunately Hart is not quite at his level just yet.

I often wonder if the people who post on here about things their "rag mates" say are 13 year old schoolboys.

I have never, ever heard anyone in football say anything negative about Joe Hart. That includes fans, pundits, journos, nothing. He is universally acknowledged as England's best keeper for a long time.

OP was 9:59pm. I reckon bedtime was 10pm and the thread was created with some fuss whilst he continuously wiped the crumps away from his cookies.

Not been at his usual confident self at the Euro's, must be the red shirt.

You are onto something there.

He doesnt look right in red.

The scary thing is - just how many caps will he have for England and how many games will he play for City. He's scarily young and time always makes keepers better and helps them improve aspects of their game. He could reduce his distribution errors, and yes some of his parries end up going forwards and not out for corners. But that's being really, really picky. He has 21 caps and will be England goalie for the forseeable. If he keeps improving then I'd not expect City to want to change. There's no goalie in the world I'd rather have right now and I don't see that changing in the next decade.

Most people I've heard talk about him say he's brilliant.

Even radio pundits were referring to him as England's only other world class player when discussing Rooney's return this week.
