Absolutely and Cogently Expressed.

  • Without football nous and the technical footwork abilities which has to be mastered by any GK at this stage can City afford continuing carrying an overrated, over-hyped GK who was fully exposed at the recent Euros?
  • Do we have the luxury of letting Hart acquire learning on the spot when he has shown and has a proclivity to be Risk Aversed.
  • Has he shown leadership on the field when he let his teammate/s carry the burden of defending his GK turf (especially crosses and from corner kicks ) and letting them being scapegoated for any goals let in?
Can we let Pep and the Club be the Laughing Stock of the World?
What is the point of trying to be articulate and 'matter of fact' with a post then filling it with bias and opioions trying to pass them off as facts? Are you in fact 12 and just discovered your thesaurus app?

joe is miles better than willy as a traditional goalkeeper. are you blind :)
My vision is OK thank you.
Willy is a solid all round keeper. No major weaknesses in his game.
As has been documented by a number of posters on this thread, Joe's game has many aspects where to use management speak there is room for improvement.
So to tell you the truth if they remain as our choice of keepers, I'm not really that arsed whether it's Willy or Joe's name on the team sheet.

I agree with this. Would also add that if willy were playing as often has Joe has, he would be getting a lot more credit than he does.

It's not superior though, at a questionable push it would be like being the least fattest kid at fat camp.

It appears it's more Caballero's willingness to distribute the ball differently more so than his ability to do so. On Saturday he did nothing impressive in that regard and in pre season he stunk it up kicking wise.

Hart is the better overall 'keeper between the two; no debate at all, sorry. If they are the two options going into the season after the window closes, would everyone be OK with the lesser of the two playing week in and week out?

Because when Bony played ahead of Iheanacho it wasn't pretty on here.
I still think the question will be rendered moot by 1st September. But probably not until then.

As could Hart.
If he does as he's told in training yes.

The difference is that Willy was a very decent keeper before but hasn't really showed it at City (due to confidence or I don't know what).

Joe has never been comfortable with ball at feet or being a sweeper keeper.
