Fully agree. I learnt not to when Kinkladze was sold, cried myself to sleep that night!
I myself am actually quite an emotional person, I, however try to channel my emotions into something more deserving than millionaire footballers who I know would not hesitate to leave if a better offer came along from another club. The best you could expect from any player would be that they use that offer to get a new, even more lucrative contract. I never slag players off but by the same token it never bothers me when they go. I would be quite happy to see Silva, Zab, Komps, Hart or any other player be sold, as long as their replacement was better than the player being replaced. Sorry for being so cold about it but I need my emotion and loyalty to be requited. With football players it never is.

I'd rather have Joe in net than Willy. I'd rather keep Joe full stop, but if Guardiola wants another keeper, you aren't going to get many blues berating him for it. You might get fans like me who don't understand it, but I would never abuse the coach for making that decision. It's his call. He sees the players a lot more than we do. And by the same token I don't expect City fans to rubbish Hart to try and justify the change.
I think the phrase we're looking for is "amicable divorce". I agree.

I'm sure I read on this forum, or read a link from here, that pep thinks it's more important to get rid of bad apples than signing new players. If that's the case Joe will be going, regardless of abilities, along I think with yaya and nasri, I also think kolarov was on that list but has shown to be willing and able and has earned more time. Just my opinion, right or wrong
