Other than the fact he is obviously surplus to requirements and being actively shopped around? Because that will obviously hugely affect his value, as will his high wages and the fact that we realistically aren't going to sell him outside of England, then there are only a small number of clubs who need a keeper. We'll do well to get £20m for him imo, can't see a club at our level interested in buying him. Maybe Everton, West Ham, then you're looking at very ordinary premier league sides beyond that, unless Liverpool want him despite buying a new keeper already. It's a tough sale
Yep, easy to say that we never get good value in our sales, but it's always situations like this where players are surplus and on higher than average wages. Which is the inverse to when we are trying to poach players from other clubs. Not like for like equations.

Pep has give many of the old guard chances even Yaya in preseason games. A lot of which who seemed to have won him over. I suspect with Hart there was a clash in the back which probably didn't sit well with Pep. Bravo wasn't good with his feet until he moved to Barca nor was Neuer till Pep.

Seems sad the way it's all been handled I imagine joe probably thought he'd be here for the rest of his career. I guess you can't be sentimental at the top but I can't help feeling we might regret it. He has won the golden gloves 3 or 4 times and has consistently been our best player in europe for the past 3 years. He is imo a club legend and I feel he's been treated pretty harshly

Ethan 23 we won't regret it, the club is bigger than any player. The way Pep plays needs a rush goalie it's pivotal to how we are gonna play in the future , and so we now require a different type of goalie to Joe that's not a slight on Joe his goalkeeping ability or character, just that Joe is a keeper in the traditional sense ,we are going somewhere else tactics wise ,and so is the role of how we perceive a goalkeeper . We keep going on about shot stopping ability but in Peps tactics it's about limiting shots on target by snuffing out the opposition attacks before they get close to goal, thus you don't need a good shot stopping last line of defence goalkeeper because our defence is set up to limit that threat .

Last night was enough to convince me that the way Pep wants us to play out from the back is the way forward, retaining possesion and forcing the opposition to chase the ball. I thought Willy was very good and was surprised at how he has adapted, if the system works in the PL we will see a revolutionin the way the game is played here.

Hart is quality, he's still one of the best in the world and I feel like we're finding faults where there aren't many. This judging a goalie on his passing is ridiculous. He could basically solve this by passing out a short ball to a defender each time - sorted! Stat goes up to same as neuer etc. What about all the world class saves he makes, everyone's forgetting this.

This is surely more about his influence in the dressing room and pep showing who's boss. It's all just a real shame. I think we will regret selling him

In summary - "I believe I'm better at evaluating player talent and ability to fit into Pep Guardiola's team than Pep Guardiola."

That bit about Neuer has me wondering if you aren't just wumming though.

Last Saturday and last night we played well despite not having a goalie who is versed in the way of Pep ,can you imagine how easy it will be to play that way once we do have a keeper who "gets" what Pep wants ? The role of goalkeeping in the Premier league will change over the next few seasons as other clubs see how Pep revolutionises tactics and they want to emulate it .

Hart doesn't seem to believe he can play that type of game and has not done anything to convince Pep that he can...............His short ball passing stats are 60% and long ball below 50% so he's giving possession away.......those stats would get you dropped from any team.....I for one hope he stays and fights for his place.....I'm thinking his ego wont let him which says it all really....either way good luck to Joe !

This is only a hunch but there is more to this than we think.

I would imagine hart being very vocal and influencial in dressing room and that is why pep is getting rid.

Pellers was to weak to do it but pep isn'
