I trust my best mate with my life but it doesn't mean i have to like some of the stuff she does,i trust pep but i don't like it and the trashing of his reputation on here

I know what you mean, but tbf as things stand I think some of it on here is an only natural highlighting of his failings, as we attempt to rationalise the decision that's been made. Its to be expected in the immediate aftermath of the news. I'm sure if and when a move for him is confirmed, and he goes, we'll see plenty more comments highlights his positives and urging us all not to forget the great things of which he has been a large part.
It certainly seems a while ago since I went to watch him make his city debut, pre-season at Wrexham iirc. We're not in Kansas anymore...

Does the fact that people agree that Hart can't play the Pep way equate to trashing his reputation? Would you like Pep to keep Hart knowing he won't be good enough to play in his system.
You know nothing John Snow, it may take time but I do think he could adapt to it he'd be 2nd choice working on it with Bravo and Pep until he gets to the level required(could take months but if he wants it he could do it). He doesn't have two left feet that's a fallacy there are videos of him showing skill, overhead kicks, crossbar challenges, he's not that old and he's in good shape... impossible is a stupid assumption, not worth the time it would take along with the other problems that apparently come with it I'll buy that possibly as sad as it is.

I was defending the views of supporters ...not Joe Hart....If he leaves he leaves....but after his service should leave with dignity if that's possible....not with the fuck it he was shit attitude... ya get me?
I don't think anyone is saying he was shit. Certainly not me. What I, and a lot of other posters, are saying is that regardless of how good he may have been for us in the past, he can't play the way Pep wants him to play. That isn't saying he's shit, it's just saying he isn't relevant to the way we want to play from now on. No one has impugned his dignity as far as I can see so I don't think anyone should be offended on his behalf. I'm sure he'll do well at another club that likes their goalie to punt it down the pitch at every opportunity but that's not what Pep wants so that's why he has been benched.

you need to re read the post I was replying to instead of jumping on my fucking back mate

I have read every post this last 2 weeks and there are plenty slagging joe off,2 have called him a cancer and lots more along those lines,i object to that not the fact pep doesn't want him,it's clear he has to go but fuck me he deserves thanks and goodbye after 10yrs good service

Tbh i agree with this, i would love Joe to stay and prove people especially the press wrong who imo since the Euros have jumped on his back however i think most of us agree because of the way Pep wants up to play its not Joes game. Joe if he does leave will leave with my upmost respect and i will wish him well at what ever club he goes to.

If it is because he has got too big for his boots or something else has happened then so be it but he has served this club in a playing capacity very well over our most successful period in the last 10 or so years

That's as good a two sentence summary as anyone here as come up with in whole paragraphs. Football, as in business generally, is all about achieving success and there is no room for letting sentimentality getting in the way of whatever this success may be. If there is someone better at his job than any incumbent player, and if there is any possibility of attracting that player to the club, then why should anyone be up in arms because the incumbent player is Joe Hart?
Your spot on mate, the only problem is football is a lot more to a lot of people than just a business. It's a passion, it's a love, there just more to it than trophies.
The club as a whole is bigger than any one player this is true, but don't lose sight of the fact that the players make the club. They're what brings people in droves to watch, it's also true the better the player the bigger the audience, but it's the love of particular players what keeps the hardcore group that follow an unsuccessful club through over 30 years of naff all, coming back. It's the players that keeps the passion of the fans, not all players will achieve this status, not all have it in them, but to many Joe has, thats why they'll always be disappointment to his leaving.
I'm not saying people who see the club as more than just an organisation designed to win, have anymore right to support the club than them who are turning up to mearly see success at all cost, but please don't shake your head in disgust at us more romantic fans, we can't help it.
