Cant believe some of the tripe im readin on this thread, some of you should be ashamed of yourselves, keep going on about no one is bigger than the club, but creaming your knickers and acting like Pep is bigger than the club. Im not a hart fan or a pep fan im a Manchester City fan, my club was an honourable one with heart and soul to it, it matters how we do things.
The treatment of a man that has won us far far more points than he has cost us is a disgrace and you lot with your knives out are no better than plastic rag fans who care only about what glory they can sniff out next. Think a lot of you are supporting the wrong team RAGs.

You obviously haven' t read Colin Bells, Lakeys, edgehills autobiogs, when the club really did treat players like crap when they were finished with them. This is probably the most professional we have been run in the last 40yrs.

Joe's going because the team is evolving, no trophies or glory are guarenteed by him going and no one has used that as a reason to ditch him, also most know that so your plastic rag analogy make little sense.

Pep ain't bigger than city, just like any player the club was here before him.amd carry on when he's gone, but he os theanager and if he thinks this on a necessary action we have to trust him on that even if some dissagree.

I see your point mate, I really do, as I do for all blues unhappy with Hart moving on.
I also see what we're trying to build so am more accepting of what needs to be done. Horses for courses isn't it.

It is mate,it really is,I'm at an age where i have seen loads come and go,but for some reason this is hurting me a lot more than I would have imagined.

If it was walking off ground,or watching us away on tv,I've said countless times, thank fuck for Joe,he's a cracker,am so glad he is with us,like I've said before I ain't too fussed about his private life, nor am I with any of the others, all footballers are over paid, but he has been part of our revolution, but this is a new revolution I suppose now, where we have the best boss in the world, but there are far too many on here who are so negative,it's fucking childish,Pep this Pep that,I know he's in charge now so will live or die by the sword,(managers have been known to get sacked, especially at City, remember),but I firmly believe this is a massive call with our keeper.

He's 29 not 39 as some are making out,but if he doesn't want to learn then the door has to be shown, but it cannot and will not change my feelings that he's been outstanding for us,and will be sorely missed by me,and many on here once it happens, when there has been time to reflect

Nothing wrong with any of that.

It is still upto Hart. Pep hasnt banished him to the reserves. He hasnt banned him from the training pitch. He is still part of the squad like everyone else. Its upto Hart to decide to stay and improve and fight. Or look elsewhere.

Several posts went in that direction and I would like to give my view on that. Nothing to do with you as I got your point mate.
I apologize for the direct way in advance.

Technically you seem to be right as Joe still has a legal contract.

But: Pep has downgraded England's keeper and a City legend, that's a strong statement.
You don't do that as a 'kick up the arse' as some on here think it was, just to motivate Joe.
The clear message is: 'You don't have a future at City under my reign.' And it seems Joe already got the message. Some on here don't.

Next message is: Bravo seems to be on his way. There we have 2 keepers for City's squad list. Bravo and WIlly.
Pep has to trust his keepers and it seems it's not the case with Joe. He even won't be the backup.
Hard ball would be Joe is not even on the squad lists.

Now Joe could stay and train hard as a 3rd choice insisting on his contract. That wouldn't be the best situation for the team, for Pep, for Joe and for City.
But it would be great for the media, a true wankfest. Week after week.

So, straight out: Joe has nothing to fight for. If he wants to play as a keeper he has to leave now as tough as it is. And that would be a wise decision. You have to know in live when to 'fight' and when better to move on and find your luck somewhere else.

Even a loan from Joe's point of view doesn't make much sense as we would have the same situation next year.
If Joe would be the perfect 'sweeper' within the next year Pep could just buy him back if he was convinced it was the best choice.
Joe has to find a new challenge where he can show what is in him and where he can be happy.
IMO.

I love Joe Hart, I wouldn't want any other keeper in world football. I think there are only 1 or 2 better than him, but he is Mr Manchester City and so couple those things together and you have MY reason why i want him to stay. For his entire career.

His new manager doesn't think he fits into the starting 11 because of his ability with the ball at his feet. I want Joe to stay and improve his technique and force his way back.

Its not Pep's fault, he has every right to do as he pleases and it is what he has been brought in to do.
I am absolutely behind our manager 100% and so is the club.

For the sake of maybe 6 months to a year of not playing so much I think it would be a good opportunity for Joe to improve his all round skills and come back stronger.

I remember a story my dad used to tell me when I was only 10. Joe Corrigan got dropped for a few clangers and even the fans used to laugh at his pot belly.

He knuckled down it seems and 2 months later he came back 2 stone lighter, muscles toned and more alert and focused than ever. He never looked back.

So Joe, do what you've always done and come back stronger.
