Cant believe some of the tripe im readin on this thread, some of you should be ashamed of yourselves, keep going on about no one is bigger than the club, but creaming your knickers and acting like Pep is bigger than the club. Im not a hart fan or a pep fan im a Manchester City fan, my club was an honourable one with heart and soul to it, it matters how we do things.
The treatment of a man that has won us far far more points than he has cost us is a disgrace and you lot with your knives out are no better than plastic rag fans who care only about what glory they can sniff out next. Think a lot of you are supporting the wrong team RAGs.

How exactly has he been treated disgracefully by the club? Because the manager feels he can find a better fit for the team/squad?

I don't believe the club has done anything wrong in this (though some fans are going a bit over the top at times) and still retains its honour, heart and soul.

I dont think he is far from it at all. All he has to do is sppend a year learning to play with his feet comfortable, if he stayed and learnt it would be the best option overall. His shot stopping is 2nd to none in the prem, it is just his sweeperkeeper skills he needs to learn.
What if it's not only his sweeper keeper skills but also his attitude that isn't good enough. Is that going to be corrected in 12 months.
I am informed by a friend of a friend that Hart is quite thick.
Couldn't help laughing at that.

Its basically left for Joe to make the call - Be one of the stand-by keepers for Bravo & fight for his place. Or he can go elsewhere if he doesnt like that.

All Pep has done is to go for an upgrade in the GK position. Just like tomorrow he might do with Aguero if Messi is available. Its elite mentality. Thats why we hired him for.

And if Willy has spent more training sessions under Pep & is more willing to adapt, he got the call ahead of Hart for the first 2-3 games. I dont see a reason for all the media drama & circus. There is no circus for Yaya or Nasri who hv also been great players for City. Just coz he is English? And Pep didnt drop Hart off the plane like he has done for Yaya, Nasri, Bony, etc. Why this furore? Did ppl cry & make petitions when MP was replaced by Pep? Look at the neighbours - sentimentality & stupidity along with media circus is precisely why the Rags are unable to offload Rooney. Elite clubs keep upgrading. Barca had to replace the likes of Romario, Laudrup, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Eto, Deco, Valdes, etc for the greater benefit of the club. When there are upgrades available, u aim for them.

It is still upto Hart. Pep hasnt banished him to the reserves. He hasnt banned him from the training pitch. He is still part of the squad like everyone else. Its upto Hart to decide to stay and improve and fight. Or look elsewhere. No player's starting position is guaranteed in the squad just coz they hv played 5y/8y/10y/15y in the past. Unfortunate for Hart & a difficult situation to deal with even for us fans, but not some catastrophe like many ppl hv portrayed. At the top clubs, it happens to one key player or the other, EVERY season!
It'll be interesting to see if this continues to be the case when we have a new keeper in place.

What treatment? Has he had his wages stopped, training with the kids ? No.

He has been dropped because he was making mistakes this was amplified in the euros and also pre season. Added to that his distribution is poor and that does not fit with the new managers philosophy? Are you saying pep should change the tactic of the team to fit in with joe because joe is untouchable ?

The game evolves and moves on. Joe will always be a city legend whether he stays or goes but he is not guaranteed a place come what may.

Yawn.

How has Joe Hart been ill-treated by the club? Hearsay? What media circus is telling us? Because his No.1 position was called into question? Pep said in his first interview in front of the fans - what the players played in the past dont matter, they hv to again show the manager what they can do, in the training pitch! What is the dis-respect here?

If Joe Hart has been ill-treated as some say here, then how has Yaya & Nasri been treated by the club? In their case it is even worse, so I would assume all the fanbase, without exception, would be on the streets, demonstrating and talking about values and how the club should continue to treat their place in the first 11 as non-negotiable coz of their service to the club in the past? Dont see that happenning anywhere!

Why even change a gentleman, charming coach (& who has won important titles for the club) in the first place, given our values and how we treat everyone who has contributed to the club's success as 1st choice?

Is Joe Hart bigger than everybody else at the club? If yes, then, maybe its better we make him player-manager and sack Pep, as Hart seems to embody the very soul, spirit & collective will of the fans.

Is the Manager bigger than the players?
"Treatment"? What are you on about? He's been dropped and the manager doesn't rate him as highly or sentimentaly as you?
