Just mentioned it above.

Three managers wanted him gone, that kind of thing. Why then ?

Ahh i see now, yeah this stuff i simple don't read. If people could be arsed to document every time this stuff happens some pattern would show i reckon. Certain bloggers or 'reporters' i think live for the nasty shit and not the job of actually reporting insightful stuff on the sport. Fuck them.

So tell me what does he deserve? As for the 3 managers I have no idea, he has been dropped by them all which for a world class keeper is strange.

If you don't think he deserves any respect, that's your call. I can't argue it. I think he comes across as a complete oik who wears makeup, & reminds me of a typical pain in the arse, egg chaser, but also, for me he will always be a City legend, who has done as much as anyone to win us our titles.

I also don't think he can do what Pep wants, so unfortunately will have to go.

But I have no evidence he has done anything wrong.

That's my only issues with all this situation to be honest.
I love the fact that Pep's our manager, and there's no doubt that this lad needs free roam to do whatever he feels fit. But just because he's lost faith, or never had it, with a player doesn't make that player shit. Look at who he culled at Barca, they didn't stop being class, just stopped fitting into Pep's plans.
I'd love Joe to stay, to fight for his place, I think he'd be capable. But there's just too much shite flowing out of the media, to many smirking faces on sky sports when reporting, salivating at the mouth that there's controversy at city, it can't be ignored.
Whether Joe's people have played this wrong or its all true about him having an attitude, I get the impression he's done.

Unless he plays on Saturday, which would be highly hilarious just to watch this thread go into meltdown

completely agree mate. its up to pep what he wants to do, and fair enough even though i dont agree with it, its his choice and he does know best ( hopefully), but i really can't understand anyone on here ( there have been a few) though saying he's not good enough or is shit. id say the vast majority of city fans think he is good enough for us as he has proven, but understand that pep may want a change,

all this shit about his personal life, how he apparently acts ( all of which are rumours/no evidence ) i couldtn care less about, all that mattered was he performed on the pitch which he did.if we all found out ( rumors ) similar with aguero would anyone really care ?

That kind of thing, & people saying stuff like 'x, y. z wanted him gone, so there must be something' but then not saying what that 'something' is. If your job is to report football, tell us why those managers wanted him gone. What is that football weakness ? Have the guts to say what you think is wrong with Hart's keeping, that 3 managers wanted him gone.

Instead they say fuck all, which gives the impression it's 'something else'.

Fair enough, haven't really followed the media narrative, is that how it's being presented?

Only really kept up with tweets of basic updates on City Watch etc.

Anyone with a grain of football knowledge could've seen this coming, Joe just isn't suited to playing in a Pep side. All of his longstanding weaknesses are fundamental core requirements of a goalkeeper in a Pep side.

This shouldn't have really come as a surprise to anyone.

Everything else is side dressing. Joe could be the biggest tosser in the world, a member of the national front with a taste for diddling the club cat, and I'm sure if he could play like Neuer or Valdes in his pomp Pep would overlook it and he'd be staying.

He just isn't good enough for what Pep wants from him.

I think he probably has got to big for his boots a few times and it simply helps with Pep getting rid due to his lack of skills in areas Pep see's as vital. Two birds with one stone such as it is. That is how pep will see it most likely on a fundamental level.

I am at ease with it, yes it is sad and i think Joe deserves our respect and he has mine. However i can see why Pep wants rid and can't argue with that either. I support City first over any one player and if pep says he has to go then so be it. I wish him all the very best though in the future and have no ill will towards him.

Many in the media have been really fair to both sides, & I'm shocked tbf, but there is this undercurrent from some, that it's 'something else' other than football, which I really can't be doing with.

That's the kind of thing which ends up sticking.
