If you don't think he deserves any respect, that's your call. I can't argue it. I think he comes across as a complete oik who wears makeup, & reminds me of a typical pain in the arse, egg chaser, but also, for me he will always be a City legend, who has done as much as anyone to win us our titles.

I also don't think he can do what Pep wants, so unfortunately will have to go.

But I have no evidence he has done anything wrong.

To me it's not a matter of respect he has a job, he is paid for it and like anything in life circumstances change, if people are daft enough to pay footballers huge amounts of money then fair play to them, but respect them? Why? I don't know the guy neither do you, he will go from one well paid job to another so what.

In a fair world he should wake up everyday and think fuck me I'm blessed. Fawning over someone because he is known through his job seems ridiculous to me.

I knew you would come around eventually
I think both sides have fought each other to a standstill. The ceasefire communique should read:

In light of all that has been discussed in the Bluemoon Joe Hart thread, both sides agree on the following:
Joe Hart is a Manchester City legend, having been here since the early days of the Abu Dhabi takeover. He is one the best shot stopping goalkeepers in the world. However, the style of football the new manager, Pep Guardiola, wishes the team to play is very different to the system Joe has been used to playing in and it is felt by the new regime that Joe will find it difficult if not impossible to adapt. Therefore the manager has reluctantly decided that City should buy a keeper that is better versed in the new system, and Joe should find himself a new club if he wishes to continue playing regular club football.
It should be noted at this point that there has been extensive debate on Bluemoon regarding this situation. Some posters believe that Joe should be kept on as No1 goalkeeper regardless of any detriment this may cause to the implementation of the new system and however much this may hold back the progress of the club. The reason given for this view seems to be that Joe is a very good shot stopper and he is blue through and through and is a very good chap. Those holding the opposite view also happen to think that Joe is blue through and through and is a very good chap. But they also happen recognise that for the club to progress, the new manager, Pep Guardiola, must be given the tools to implement the system that most people believe will take us to the next level. Unfortunately that may mean the much loved Joe having to leave.
In order to keep the peace and prevent civil war breaking out among the City fanbase, it is agreed that whatever decision the new manager, Pep Guardiola, arrives at will be respected by both sides in the best interests of MCFC. Albeit with a heavy heart and with our heartfelt thanks and good wishes to Joe if, and as looks very likely, when he leaves.

Signed on behalf of both factions by the Bluemoon Peacekeeping Comittee.

I think he probably has got to big for his boots a few times and it simply helps with Pep getting rid due to his lack of skills in areas Pep see's as vital. Two birds with one stone such as it is. That is how pep will see it most likely on a fundamental level.

I am at ease with it, yes it is sad and i think Joe deserves our respect and he has mine. However i can see why Pep wants rid and can't argue with that either. I support City first over any one player and if pep says he has to go then so be it. I wish him all the very best though in the future and have no ill will towards him.

I think it's probably best for all concerned, that he moves on.

But I wish him nothing but the best, apart from when he plays us.

No idea mate.

Just don't like these slimeballs saying stuff like '3 managers wanted him gone' , without putting any flesh on the bones.

Hughes brought in Given, it's well documented that Mancini wanted Begovic and Pellers brought in Willy to replace him, he just wasn't up to the job. Of all the things said about Joe, you've picked a poor example.

If you think I'm fawning over him then once again, that's upto you.

I like to give our best players the credit hey deserve & I think Joe has been one of our best players.

But I'm just repeating it now.

That's far to sensible for this place, have a word with yourself

Ahh, I can't be arsed.

If they didn't want Joe as a keeper, then only Hughes & Pep have any credibility, as they moved him out, the other two managers are a pair of fucking shithouses, for both having Joe as a keeper, if they didn't want him.

And yet Mancini dumped Craig Bellamy & picked fucking Jo, instead. No problem moving him on.

Hmm.

I will give the many possible comments a miss on this occasion.
Aww, I wanted a full on Nev Smash! Haha!
I leave the non football issues to those who read Hello magazine mate. I've got enough going on in my own life to spare time worrying about what others are up to.

Hmm.

Mancini was sacked before he could bring in another keeper and Willy wasn't good enough to replace Joe, even Pellers could see that. It doesn't alter the fact that he tried.
