I think both sides have fought each other to a standstill. The ceasefire communique should read:

In light of all that has been discussed in the Bluemoon Joe Hart thread, both sides agree on the following:
Joe Hart is a Manchester City legend, having been here since the early days of the Abu Dhabi takeover. He is one the best shot stopping goalkeepers in the world. However, the style of football the new manager, Pep Guardiola, wishes the team to play is very different to the system Joe has been used to playing in and it is felt by the new regime that Joe will find it difficult if not impossible to adapt. Therefore the manager has reluctantly decided that City should buy a keeper that is better versed in the new system, and Joe should find himself a new club if he wishes to continue playing regular club football.
It should be noted at this point that there has been extensive debate on Bluemoon regarding this situation. Some posters believe that Joe should be kept on as No1 goalkeeper regardless of any detriment this may cause to the implementation of the new system and however much this may hold back the progress of the club. The reason given for this view seems to be that Joe is a very good shot stopper and he is blue through and through and is a very good chap. Those holding the opposite view also happen to think that Joe is blue through and through and is a very good chap. But they also happen recognise that for the club to progress, the new manager, Pep Guardiola, must be given the tools to implement the system that most people believe will take us to the next level. Unfortunately that may mean the much loved Joe having to leave.
In order to keep the peace and prevent civil war breaking out among the City fanbase, it is agreed that whatever decision the new manager, Pep Guardiola, arrives at will be respected by both sides in the best interests of MCFC. Albeit with a heavy heart and with our heartfelt thanks and good wishes to Joe if, and as looks very likely, when he leaves.

Signed on behalf of both factions by the Bluemoon Peacekeeping Comittee.

hehe, bravo :-)

If you think I'm fawning over him then once again, that's upto you.

I like to give our best players the credit hey deserve & I think Joe has been one of our best players.

But I'm just repeating it now.

What credit? What do they deserve? Answer the question man, they are well paid, don't have the drudge, don't have to worry about the future, life's pretty good. No wonder the worlds fucked, would you give a inherited millionaire a wrap around?

Mancini was sacked before he could bring in another keeper and Willy wasn't good enough to replace Joe, even Pellers could see that. It doesn't alter the fact that he tried.

Mancini sacked Given & picked Joe Hart, for fucking years.

People can't just say, ah yeah but after some years he wanted him out.

Then the clown took over, & had him for 3 years AFTER Mancini had gone.

Ffs, this is just ridiculous.

If you don't think top sports people deserve any credit then fine. I can't explain it to you. It's just money, fair enough.

I don't understand how you enjoy watching them though.

So after many many many pages those who think hart is world class, has great attitude, loves the fans and donates his wages to chimney sweep orphans they are saying it's because the way we want to play is the reason, slowly slowly catch a monkey
It's not a lone furrow you plough on here, but you have my sympathies.

I want city to win that's it, let me ask you a question why aren't you city's goalkeeper, if you saw Kelly brook in the street would you respect her because she is pretty?

I don't understand whay any of that has any relevance to what I am discussing, so am struggling to answer.

I would very much like to shag Kelly Brook, but have no idea of her personality, she may be a complete turd, but if she had an Olympic cyclng gold medal for example, I would respect her a great deal for that, irrespective.

No idea if that helps.

Some posters not ready to give up on Hart do realise the situation Pep is in but feel ideally Hart would have had the option of the number 2 role learning from Pep and Bravo until he is ready to challenge again for the number1 spot. The reason given for this view seems to be that Joe is a very good shot stopper and he is blue through and through and is a very good chap.
