Well apart from giving the support a chance to say thanks for the ten years i suppose not, premiership footballers are that well paid now that testimonials aren't really required so its a case of give Joe a game a keeper who doesn't seem to have a future any longer with City, or Willy who seems to have a short future on the bench for City.If it was my choice I'd like to give him a round of applause for the success of the last 5 years he's helped obtain for us.

Send him a good luck card

First time for everything I suppose.
Joe is leaving.Accept it.
New manager comes in and a fans favourite leaves because new manager thinks he can get better.
Not like nobody hasn't noticed his short comings for the reason Pep has not played him.
Happens all the time.

You clearly haven't read my other posts not the subject ( or just no noticed them as you put it!)

I support the decision to bring in bravo and if Joe cant adapt I support the selling of hart.

My response was due to the over eagerness of some fans to get rid of him (which i think is very disrespectful in its self considering how well Hart has done for us in the last 10 years) and also in response to some of the comments made on here about him not being that good (fans turning on players as soon as they have gone/are going)

I suggest before trying to give snappy throw away comments like the ones above (just accept it) you read the thread (or parts of it at least) before you respond to a comment...if you had you would have seen that I (and I will say it again for clarity) support both the purchase of Bravo and the selling of Hart by Pep.

Just wondering if people might feel a bit foolish if Joe did come out and either stay and improve (highly unlikely he will want to stay) to prove people wrong. If i was him thats what I would do.....but i understand why he wouldn't...after all he aint a city fan and he has his Engalnd career to think of.

Hope Joe plays and plays well.
And when game finishes he gets the applause he rightly deserves and leaves with our best wishes
Then we move on. ...

If Pep - as it seems - wants to force Joe out, the clearest way would be to start Joe and take him off close to the end.
Symbolic act to replace him by Willy and give Joe a farewell platform in front of his home crowd.

I know it will be tough for Joe. But I hope he takes it as the man he is and walks out throug the main door head up.
If Joe gets his farewell today please give him a big fat roar, as we have come a long way over many years with unforgettable moments.

Thank you Prestwich why attack other fans for stating their own opinions? The whole world can see that Hart has been getting worse and not one of us have minimised his achievement.
No amount of lashing out at us will change the fact that the manager does not trust him nor think he is good enough. No teams in for him it could be 15 minutes till the end of the transfer
window if Aguero or another world class player became available teams would flood to him. The fact that not even the new continental big powers are showing any sort of interest shows
we are blinded by loyalty.

This is a man that got rid of Dinho, Eto, Deco, Ibra, Yaya and still went to win it all Joe Hart is not a patch on ANY of those players. He was just a good keeper who did a good job for us.

personal opinion are fine (thats what a forum is all about) but your initial post lacked a bit of class towards a player who has given his all for the club imho....

the response from the next poster wasn't great (and i agreed to it at the time - so I apologise for that) - but those sort of posts are going to get peoples backs up especially when its about a player who has done this club proud over the last 10 years

According to the mirror, we can't announce Bravo till Thursday, as Barca still hold his registration until they confirm the signing of that Ajax lad.

I see where you are coming from, but I think most would accept Willy will revert back to #2 once Claudio is in, therefore IMO, Willy needs as many minutes as he can get mastering Peps methodology for when he is next called upon.

For all we know, Joe might not want to play
Willy's got the early rounds of the league cup to look forward to for his game time, chances are this is Joe's farewell hope an half decent club comes in for him, his form improves he does seem to have stalled or gone in reverse the last 18 months and England are going to need a top keeper under BFS.

i the words of the great joey barton THE CLUB IS NOT WHAT IS USED TO BE

thank fuck
the type of players back than and the clubs board would buckle and the player would win and the manager would have lost the dressing room the boys club did what they wanted back then drinking nightlife gambling you name it they was doing it the the club just let them get away with it. that's why we had so many managers and never ever a winning team joke of a club they would laugh at little old manchester city and its players of mixed of youth and old over paid journey men

well manchester city are now a football club that waits for nobody you could be king for a season but then your out CITY want win things and never standing still so joe hart thank you

You expressed my sentiments so much more eloquently than I ever could. You're quite right. Can you imagine the queue if de gea became available?

If Joe goes to Everton he has found his level.
I think thats unfair Joe has served us well, there is no need to disrespect him in that way, Joe has saved us countless more points than he lost us.
