It's a weird situation for blues of my age, as let's be honest, we havnt had many real top class servants leave the club over the last 30 years

I was probably too young to be emotional about rosler, and can't really think of any since, apart from some of the current crop

Joe is probably the first real city legend in terms of service, for me personally

My kids are devastated, I know It sounds silly but they genuinely are

We have to trust pep, and again being honest, it's a huge thing for him to deal with, that adds more pressure, to an already difficult task - the media are waiting to hit him from all angles if bravo drops a bollock

A full grown man that loves the club has shed a tear tonight, all the best joe, we love you and won't forget what you did for us

Onwards and upwards

Most of us have been in situations at work where great people (even ourselves) were let go for one reason or another even though we had been doing our jobs well. Departments go away, there isn't enough in the budget to keep them, etc. I am sad he is leaving though. But it's just the slightly darker side of the game. I say slightly, he still gets to make a shit load of money playing football so I can't help but feel that bad.

I know that he has his faults but I am right now saddened that he is going. The celebration - arms out and a look of pure joy on the 13/5/2012. He gets what being a blue means. He was a huge part of what has bought tears to this grown mans eyes over the last few years.

Thanks Joe and best of luck.
