Has he actually said that? Not sure anybody has said anything at all really?

Is there any chance Joe could stay as number 2, play domestic cup games and for 1 season learn off Pep and Bravo and master the style and skills that Pep demands. Back as number 1 next season as a better all round keeper and play for another 10 seasons winning everything there is to win?

I guess we will know for definite in a weeks time. I think this was probably the plan initially but who knows who has said what to whom? We may find out in time but it would be great if he could/would stay as No 2 , but I am guessing Hart has too much pride and wants to be No1 somewhere if it can't be here.

Understand he's gonna and it upsets me as we wouldn't be in Europe but for some of joes performances last year. Amazes me how many on here are banging on about bravo when likelihood is most have seen very little of him and I very much doubt would have been calling for us to sign him to replace joe. Not saying there aren't a couple of better keepers it just pisses me off how many on here pretend they always thought bravo was world class etc. Joe hart is the best city keeper I've seen in my lifetime edging out tiny Coton, none of us know his character etc but to suggest he hasn't been a huge player for us and has let us down etc is bollocks and shows how little of city some blues actually watch.

Any other manager and i would be going mad but i trust Pep to give us more highs than Joe ever could.

An out and out legend, was here when we were shit and has been the mainstay of the best years of my life watching City not the mention how amazing he has been.

Good luck Joe.

Sorry to see him go as he has been a great servant to the club, but in Pep we trust. He got an excellent send off tonight which was fully deserved.

We had all this when Milner was dithering over his contract.

He left and showed us zero respect afterwards..

not sure how Joe , who started playing for the club when we were not very good 10 years ago , should be compared to Milner who only joined the club because we were successful and was paid an absolute fortune from day one , if Joe wants to dither over his decision , he has earned it , and earned the supporters utmost respect , Milner was always chasing the glory and the money , (his alleged £8m tax free signing on fee for the Dippers probably softened the fact he is now playing left back for a club he only joined so he could play central midfield).

Leaves with his head held high and his reputation firmly intact. A fantastic goalkeeper and the best regular #1 we've had for a generation.

It's purely a personal thing - but when we eventually win the Champions' League (or any trophy for that matter), as happy as I'll be, I'll feel sad that Joe's not there with us.

Do your best elsewhere, big man, except when you play us. x
