I'm on the side of him going, and think Bravo is better, but his post match interview was class and dignity personified - don't believe for one second that he was having a 'dig' at Pep with his pigs do fly comment, just commenting on the point with a little humour.

It's not lost on me that 3 of the 4 biggest & most vocal characters in our dressing room are seemingly deemed surplus to requirements.

I honestly believe the decisions to do away with Hart, Nasri and Toure were made pre Guardiola and probably with his ascent.

It makes no sense whatsoever that all three could be jettisoned by Pep based on what he's seen or learned about them in 7 weeks.

All the same, in Pep I trust. He did something just as inexplicable when he first took over at Barca and look how that turned out!!!!

I guess we will know for definite in a weeks time. I think this was probably the plan initially but who knows who has said what to whom? We may find out in time but it would be great if he could/would stay as No 2 , but I am guessing Hart has too much pride and wants to be No1 somewhere if it can't be here.
From what I gather, its not the staying and fighting for his place that's the issue, it's losing his England place that seems to bother him more. This was much the same as Micah Richards and it seriously pisses me off when players place their international futures ahead of their club ones.

This is probably the case because I hate international football and in particular the international breaks. THREE WEEKS after the start of the season, we're looking at a 1-2 week break to accommodate a load of shit international matches, it does my fuckin nut in I tell ya...........

Wish I had your problems in life. Joe will go home to his 3 million pound house, his stunning wife and console himself with the ten million he has in the bank. The 24 million pound he will earn under the remains term on his contract and think of you.
One wonders why you follow football, listen to music, watch TV....or interact with people at all, if all people are to you is what they earn.

Football teams print money. Should that money go to the people who make the club what it is and put bums in seats and success on the field? Or, should it just all flow back into the pockets of Sheikh Mansour, who these players have helped turn a few hundred million into two billion?

Only sad muppets with no life shake their fist at anyone who has made something of themselves. Some people actually work their way to the top in a very competitive field, as has Joe Hart. Does he get very well paid? Absolutely! Should he? Absolutely! Are some wages seemingly obscene? Absolutely! Does he earn it by being one of the best at what he does in a field that generates billions of pounds? Absolutely. Does ANY of that require him to be a class act during this upheaval? Absolutely NOT...but he has been.

Don't cry for Joe Hart, he will be fine. However, to try to distill him down to his paycheck is disrespectful in the extreme for a player that has represented our club as well as anyone over the years of service he has provided.

Absolutely, positively, down right, blood well spot on.

Proud to be a City fan last night. Pep, Joe, the club and fans were all brilliant and acted in a grown up fashion. No bitterness or digs, just a celebration of a wonderful career. Better than any testimonial could ever be. Those saying Joes reaction was fake can do one! Hope when he eventually goes on to be a top TV pundit he does the club proud!
