So you were seven when we beat Gillingham and you have fond memories?
You may have to submit to a polygraph test mate to establish your true credentials as a Blue.
I'm sure the Mods will oblige.
Otherwise your account will be monitored very carefully by rag hunters on this forum.

Yes, so what I was young and I can't have memories of the game?

I had it on VCR and watched it back many times it was my favourite game back then, come and see me in person and say it to my face if you wish. I dare you

After Joe's post match interview where he jokingly said "Pig can fly cant they!" about him using he feet, the Daily Mail have gone with the headline "Joe Hart takes aim at Pep Guardiola's ball-playing criticism"

One thing I can't get out of my head was "the circus" line Joe came out with, maybe that was his way of a complaint, but he must have a point somewhere here.

Us as fans, are stuck between a rock and a hard place here, unless your an outer,of which I know there are a few on here,Pep comes with new ideas, and it is working,4 out of 4,but you can't help feel this could have been dealt with better.

And before one of the "outers" starts blabbing on about money, blah blah fucking blah,I think you will find thy are all paid big wages,so that argument is nonsense.

The guy should have been put on the transfer list the minute Pep came in,but he wasn't,and I've also a feeling that Pep will wake up this morning, and may think to himself.........mmmmmmmmm we may be making a mistake here, surely some emotion must have passed through him.

I really hope there is a change of events over these next few days, and he stays, but looking at reactions and chat after last night,it looks like that will not happen
With a few days left until the window closes and no obvious move, must be a chance he will stay. Not sure that's necessarily good for him or club, but it would be if he could improve the aspect of his game that Pep feels is lacking.

We don't know how Guardiola and his staff came to their decision. They may have realised quite quickly and opted to go for Willy but it only becomes obvious to us when they pick the team.

Not sure it's good for him or the club ? How do you mean ? That he won't get game time you mean ?

I think he already has something tied up and that is linked to Bravo signing which also looks to be done. It really is a shame but if Pep thinks it will help win us games then we have to believe in him now.

Maybe there is mate, but all I'm reading is that Barca won't sanction this deal yet until they get the keeper from Ajax, but Bravo is in Manchester as we all know,it's very strange this,we were not that desperate for a new keeper where we ?

I first started watching City, taken by my dad and my older cousin, when I was a kid. I liked City because all the nicest people in my life were City supporters, I respected the Players; they were City players, legends who I couldn't, in my naive youthfulness, imagine playing for any other club. Over the years we have had some great players and some favourite players, who were possibly less-than-great but favourites non-the-less. I have always believed that there is a City type of fan and also a City type of player. Sometimes players encapsulate the spirit of our Club, ambassadors both on and off the pitch. We don't applaud cheats, divers, biters, philanderers, but like to think that our lads play with the right attitude and endeavour. This is important to us as fans because it defines our Club. No other player in the last decade has encapsulated the spirit of the Club better that Joe Hart who has, in that time, shown absolute professionalism in pursuit of his craft as well as an appreciation of the Club and it's fans. Another fan's favourite will come along, another Trautmann, Corrigan or Weaver, but to lose a player of Joe's character, spirit and immense ability will inevitably, for a time at least, leave me with a feeling that the Club has been weakened as a entity, the family has lost a member. Good luck Joe.

It is strange and there is definitely more to it if you ask me. Joe has always been one of the more vocal players and maybe this is Pep's way of quashing any conflict or power heads in the dressing room.

We have to trust now in what he is trying to build and that is a team, last year we played like 11 individuals so he has obviously identified problems with the dressing room and the overall mentality behind the scenes. No player makes a team though and it is a massive shame but we have to wish Joe well and remember what he has achieved, at the end of the day though he is 1 player of a squad of 25.

Very true that, however I will revert back to one of my original points in this thread, way back, keepers are unique, and Joe certainly was for us,they are only 1 of 25 as you say,but I look at that position as slightly more important,I'm hoping this Bravo will put all our minds (well mine) at rest right from his first game for us
