Peter Cech was a great keeper a few years ago, but since he had that incident where he injured his head he hasn't quite been the same. He's still good, but no longer top drawer.

100%, it seems that knocked his confidence a lot

He must spend a fair bit of each match wondering where the next kick in the head's coming from!

What was different in this penalty compared to others was that Joe didn't commit himself so early as he always does. This time he waited a split second longer than usual before diving making it much harder for the taker.

Too often in penalties earlier this season and last season he committed too early and made it very easy for the taker to direct it the other way.
