Joe Hart Speaking To MCFC

Hart is so much better than Given on distribution and commanding his area , he is younger and will be here for ages if we dont fuck up .

It's clear from the video that he doesn't seem thrilled and I'd rather a one armed Given than someone who isn't fully commited.

And another thing people overestimate his talent and skills because he's MCFC born and bred. It's blinding a few people, he's not as good as some people think he is. And when he comes back, we'll be stuck with the same problems he's always had.

He needs to earn the jersey. Given will fight for it, he fought tooth and nail with Harper in Newcastle for 12 years, he wont be afraid of putting in the work to get it back when he's back from injury.

Hart, well, and excuse the pun, does he have the heart? Will he fight?
Because for me he comes across as a bit of a brat whenever he's been asked about coming back. Because all we've heard is how he wants to stay, and he wasn't exactly bursting with excitment when asked there, he avoided the question totally.

I have never seen any evidence of this on Bluemoon.

"At the moment yeah, but I have other things on my plate at the moment"

Interesting...I think this fella could go personally...

From what I've heard Hughes told him that there would be a fair fight for the No1 spot before Given arrived and then went back on his word and told Hart that he wouldn't get any playing time unless Given was injured. Thus Hart feels that the club lied to him.

In that case he needs to realise Hughes is no longer the manager and RM is, so it is going to be a fresh start. If he can perform during pre-season then there is no reason he shouldn't be the no. 1.

Has it ever occured to anyone that he doesn't want to come back because he doesn't want to leave the, in his words, "family" back at Birmingham.

they've bought Foster, he ain't going back anyway.

nothing to see really, just confirms he really appreciated the close knit 'family' at birmingham, which is something we sadly don't have.

My guess is the hurt of being turfed out got to him a little, he felt welcomed and protected at Birmingham and puts his improved form down to that. You would understand if he was unsure of Mancini's suggestion that there would be a fair fight. He's losing something that's worked very well for him and is faced by uncertainty. Quite rightly he is putting all that to one side and concentrating on the job at hand, which is the world cup.

Generally he comes across extremely well compared to other players. I think his attitude is sound and he approaches his challenged with the right mind-set. If anything I'd say he lacks a little confidence after being shipped out by us.

I think City are more or less doing right by him, even if he doesn't feel that way. There is an opportunity for him to carry on improving and be a part of a top team. It's possible that he's built up his negative feelings about coming back here, so get him back, give him no option in the matter, and see how he feels about being here after a couple of months.

He's not better than Foster? But he's better than Given?

It's unreal to see that people can't get it into their heads that players might actually like to stay at the clubs there at because they like it, never mind potential success or money. The same is said when it comes to Messi, people can't get it into their heads that he doesn't want to come. They just can't see why though.

Hart likes the club he was at and the people at the club, regardless of what's going on at City. Just likes Given stayed at Newcastle instead of going to a better club.

And we're making him come back..it might be best for the club, but he mightn't see it that way.
