Joe Hart Speaking To MCFC

I just don't think he's that thrilled about coming back to the club. It's hardly a surprise.

Seeing as Birmingham have just spent 6m on a keeper, it's unlikely that he will be family next season. As for the Hughes thing I'm not saying its right, but look at it like this, if you go to a used-car dealership and their salesman fucks you, you are unlikely to be moved by them telling you he has been fired when you need to replace the car!

I see your point, however, it is a different business with a different type of operation, Hughes was the one picking the squad week in, week out and our chairman doesn't get involved in team picking. With a new manager, it is a fresh start for all the players to show what they got.

Anyway, he'll be here next season and I'm sure he will regain that commitment once he sees and hear the support from the fans. Like some have said, it is the game time that is important for him.
Thats very true with game time, I'm sure he would settle back in very quickly. Howerver if he start sitting on the bench all season, while one of his main rivals for the long term England job is playing week in week out at Birmingham of all places will cause an issue when it comes to the club/player long term relationship.

massive paranioa thingymebob going on here..

He's said nothing different to what Torres, Gerrard, and Milner have said...so if those players future's are up in the air, then I suggest that Joe's is too...

Just hope he has a good WC and show RM in pre-season he is ready for the no.1 shirt.

excactly ..massive paranoia... he may not be doing cartwheels and clicking his heels but honestly..

It would be very short sighted and foolish of him to move on at this stage of his career, if he has enough confidence in his ability he should scrap it out with Shay for the shirt.

Everyone knows our plans and resources if he does move on it's purely down to bad judgement or bad advice, he could form part of history.

If I was Mancini and Hart insisted on moving on i'd make sure it was to a team below top 6 or even abroad, we simply have nothing to gain and everything to lose by letting him go.

If he does move he is likely regret it in years to come.

If I was in his postion I would be pretty worried right now that my career might take a backwards step next season, if I'm sat on the bench as soon as Given is fit. I'm sure it's at the back of his mind that the club might tell him he has a fair chance and then fuck him. I get the feeling we could see more than a few twists and turns in the summer, when it comes to the goalkeepers and I for one would be stunned if we don't get a new face maybe even two.

But he's a keeper and that's how it is in that position. Unless you're 1st choice then you sit on the bench waiting for the other bloke to either have a series of howlers or get injured, then you get on. The only way two keepers are used when both fit is usually one in the cup/europe and one in the league.

But if he doesn't like the club/people at the club or whatever, than why should he stay?
Not everything is about the money/potential. Football has gotten so caught up in that part of the game that they've forgotten about the game itself.
